Story
Minnie is a 9-year-old (and 7 lb) Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her love for cuddles. She’s a sweet, gentle girl who truly shines when she’s curled up next to her favorite person. Minnie has a calm, loving personality and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little shadow. She will nudge you when she wants pets and cuddles, and she enjoys perching atop the couch. Minnie does best in a home with other small dogs—she finds comfort and confidence in their company and enjoys having petite pals around. Because of her size and gentle nature, she needs a home without large dogs and young children, where she can feel safe and relaxed. **She was attacked by a large dog in her former home, so she can be shy and timid at first when meeting new people. She came into foster slightly underweight, so we are working on getting her to an appropriate weight.** If you’re looking for a snuggly, devoted senior pup who will happily share the couch and your heart, Minnie might just be your perfect match. No young children, large dogs. Cats are okay, she mostly ignores them. To meet Minnie email us at abarkingchance@gmail.com

Story
Just beyond sweet, cuddler boy who wants to be by you snuggled up on the sofa. Has been house trained and knows dog door. Just a super precious little guy. Bonded Pair. Their owner passed and they were left at the VC shelter. Confused, scared and separated in cages there. Arrived at fosters home very timid and confused and doubtful they had been with other dogs. But have integrated beautifully and now are playing with fosters dogs. They sleep through the night and are really a joy to have around. The only observation is that the Chug Albert was very protective of his little buddy Emerson. He hovered over him and put his body between fosters larger dog and Emerson for a good week. He's now relaxing much more, but if you have a larger dog, he will need time to know his little buddy is safe with that dog. I have fostered for over 2 decades and these two are pure gems. Would work in an apartment with walks.

She has grown to enjoy being picked up and carried, happily soaking in the comfort and closeness of her person. Being held is where she feels most secure—and it’s clear she absolutely loves that special bond.At events, Mo has shown just how far she’s come. She remains calm, sweet, and quietly curious, even beginning to interact with new people who show her kindness. She walks nicely on a leash for potty breaks, though her favorite place will always be in your arms.Health Notes:Mo is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
