Sometimes, all a good dog needs is a fresh start and a little bit of "me time." Gus, a handsome 5-year-old Feist mix, came to us after living in a home where he was constantly overshadowed by his dominant sister. This led to some anxiety and "nipping" behaviors because he simply didn't know how to handle the world on his own. Fast forward through two weeks of professional training, and Gus is a completely different dog! He has discovered his confidence, learned that the leash is a gateway to adventure (not something to fear), and has blossomed into a focused, eager-to-please companion. He’s looking for a home where he can be the "only child" or live with a very calm dog so he can continue to shine.

These little guys are fully vetted and ready for their forever homes. ALL are sweet as can be, incredibly outgoing and super playful. They enjoy playing chase so a secure fenced yard would be ideal.

This is Br'er. He is one of the "bunny boys". He and his three siblings were born the night before Easter. He is the largest of the litter at 20 lbs however, these are still small breed pups. This Br'er is stunning with his tiny features and those XL listeners. You will fall madly in love with this little firecracker. I would say out of all of the puppies, he's the one with the old soul. Ginger is a six year-old 11 pound deer head Chihuahua. She was surrendered due to illness in her senior family. She will need a patient and understanding a doctor to allow her time to adjust and bond. She has not been around children and probably would do best with older children. She is housebroken and pad trained. She has been to New Hope Pet Vet. She is neutered current on vaccinations and on flea and tick and heartworm prevention, she has been dewormed. She has no health issues. She did require some teeth to be extracted, but has recovered from that. In her own time, she is very cuddly and affectionate, but it’s on her terms. Panties former human had to go into assisted living. She’s very tamed with strangers, and takes a while to acclimate. She can be nippy initially. She was already spayed when she came to the Ark. She had a veterinary examination and vaccinations. She did require some dental extractions, from which she’s recovered. She is pad trained and housebroken.
