Story
We are looking for a loving, stable home for our terrier chihuahua, Oscar. Oscar was adopted from a local shelter when he was about 8 months old and given the birthdate 2/14/2019. Oscar needs someone who doesn’t have young children around, and someone who is home a lot and doesn’t travel much. He has always been anxious/skiddish of guests, but he is especially fearful of men. That doesn’t mean he won’t chill out around them; it just takes a minute longer than a female. He has progressively gotten more and more temperamental over last couple years. He has nipped at almost all of our guests, but especially children who don’t know to give dogs space. He does not like people to pet him if he has not come to you and sniffed you out. We love Oscar, but our lifestyle with aging children is always on the go. He is used to walking twice a day. He has serious leash aggression, and so we walk with a buzz/beep collar so he knows to chill out.

Story
Otis is a spunky little 5 month old Chorkie! He loves to play, but also loves cuddles on or near your lap. He is great with kids, potty trained and knows basic commands, i.e. Sit, bed, come, leave it, and give paw! Otis has been learning to walk on a leash and has had all his vaccines. We got him at 8 weeks old, his initial vet exam has a clean bill of health.Unfortunately our 5 year old has been "overly playful" and isnt understanding the concept of respecting the animal and we feel he may be safer in a home with older children or children that have experience handling small animals. Otis is crate trained, but prefers cuddles or play on the couch!We have his vet and vaccine records as well.It hurts my heart to do this, but his safety and well being are more important to us, and this was something unforseen unfortunately.
