Rocket Man is a dog with a strong personality. He is short and stocky, making him stand out among other dogs. Rocket Man enjoys being in control and likes to be the boss of the pack. He craves attention and loves being around people, always seeking out affection and playtime. However, his assertiveness can sometimes lead to him bullying less dominant or submissive dogs. Despite this behavior, Rocket Man's loving nature and need for human companionship make him an ideal companion for an active and experienced dog owner. He enjoys running around with other dogs at the dog park. With proper training and socialization, Rocket Man can become a loyal and loving pet who will always be by his owner's side. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. Usually, we would call our dogs certified good boys/girls but, Merphy is a different story... Merphy is a certifiable turd. Looking for someone to rule your house stricter than a militant camp? We have Merphy for that! New people? Not a fan. Children? BIG no. Being told what to do? Not his vibe. Merphy is looking for that special someone who enjoys being ruled by an 11-pound chihuahua mix. Really, Merphy is a ladies' man and would be best suited for a home with one woman. He picks a person and he will not share that person with anyone, kind of like a toxic boyfriend. Now, Merphy FULLY expects you to share everything you've ever cared about with him but, he is surely not sharing anything. Not his food, toys, or his bed. He is a selfish guy. Once you are in, you are in. He is obsessed with his person. He loves cuddles, walks (where he will bark at strangers, especially men), car rides (where he will do the exact same), and sunbathing. He is crate and potty trained. He does well with other dogs but will not share food or toys. He doesn't seem to mind cats. He would make a great companion for a single woman who has a private, fenced backyard (or could get leash walked somewhere where he doesn't have to run into strangers often). Really, Merphy can be a good boy. He just needs somewhere he can feel safe and comfortable and a person to be patient and loving with him.
