Story
Monty may be 10, but he greets every day like it’s the best one yet. This cheerful French Brittany has a goofy sparkle in his eye and a heart that melts anyone lucky enough to meet him. His birthday may suggest he is 10, but he acts like he is a 4 year old!  His morning routine? A burst of zoomies, a quick patrol of the yard, and a proud parade with his favorite soft toy. Mealtime is Monty’s personal celebration. He’ll woo-woo sing and bounce with excitement for his food, but the moment you ask him to sit, he becomes the picture of manners. He loves his toys, his people, and his cozy evening rituals—chewing a Benebone, enjoying a Greenie “dessert,” and settling in for snuggles as the day winds down. His teeth are in great shape, and he’s got none of that typical senior-dog breath. Monty is a world-class cuddler who bonds deeply with his humans. Once he trusts you, he’ll lean his whole body against you in the sweetest “you’re my person” hug. He loves watching birds and squirrels, and he’ll happily alert you to backyard visitors with a bark, a whine, or a little excited shiver. Because of his "senior eyes" and prey drive, he’ll need a secure 6-foot fenced yard.  He will do best in a home without cats or small animals. He thrives in a calm, adult-only home and enjoys respectful teens. His perfect home would be one with minimal stairs.  Although Monty does well on short rides, he does get anxious on long rides in the car, so he’s looking for adopters in Colorado or within a few hours of Denver. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your home with warmth and laughter, Monty is ready to choose you.  The adoption fee for Monty, who lives in Highlands Ranch, CO is $250, which helps offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making Monty a part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please note if you are 65 and over you may adopt Monty for a reduced adoption fee of $150! Your state coordinator/volunteer will conduct a phone interview, home visit and vet check as part of the approval process.  Once all 3 have been approved, we will begin the matching process.  Prior Medical Note:  Monty tested positive for Tick Borne Disease called Anaplasma.  He has completed his 30 days of antibiotics called Doxycycline back in November 2025.  He may always test positive on an annual senior blood panel for this under antibodies, but he is 100% symptom free and has NO issues!  He has seen our vet and been given a clean bill of health!   May 1, 2026, 11:36 pm

Story
Millie is an extremely loving and affectionate 30-lb, two-year-old, French Brittany who loves snuggles and playing with her toys. She is very attentive and eager to please; with a bit more training she will be an excellent family dog. She is kennel trained and sleeps through the night. Millie has good manners when left unsupervised in the house. She loves to play and matches the energy of the other dogs around her when wrestling or playing chase. She would do great with other dogs in the home, but would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention. She has also done well around dog-savvy, older children. Millie runs or hikes daily with her foster dad and will need a home where she can stay equally active. She also needs a home with a spacious yard, secured by a 6 foot fence, where she can run zoomies and go on squirrel patrol.    Millie was born with some slight orthopedic issues – she has a minor left luxating patella and mild hip dysplasia.  She received a thorough work up by an orthopedic surgeon and at this point in time, surgery is not required and may never be.  Millie may have some arthritis and reduced mobility in her senior years due to these conditions and she may not. Overall, Millie is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a young girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this. The adoption fee for Millie is $400.  Millie is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped. If you are interested in making Millie a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, you may call the Utah State coordinator Patti at 801.641.4053 Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Millie can be adopted up to 1400 miles from her foster home to eligible adopters. May 1, 2026, 11:36 pm
