Meet your new best friend 🐾 This sweet 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who absolutely loves snuggles, car rides, and soaking up the sunshine. Don’t let his age fool you—he still has plenty of love (and tail wags!) to give. He’s calm, well-mannered, and would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-key buddy. He does have a few minor medical needs, but nothing that takes away from his happy spirit. He’s still full of life and just wants a cozy spot, kind humans, and lots of love. ✨ Great for a relaxed home ✨ Loves cuddling and being close to his person ✨ Sweet, gentle personality If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stick by your side, he’s your guy 💙

Story
Barnabus is an amazing pup with a huge love for fetch—give him a ball, and he’s the happiest dog in the world! He’s looking for a gentle and patient adopter who will let him take his time to build trust. Barnabus thrives in a calm environment where he’s spoken to with kindness and allowed to come to you on his own terms. Once he feels secure, his sweet and loyal personality truly shines. While he’s not a fan of constant cuddles right away, Barnabus warms up beautifully with stability and love. He enjoys quiet walks, watching the world go by, and engaging with the people around him. He’s great with kids, other animals, and people, making him a wonderful companion in the right home. Barnabus does have a quirky growl, but don’t be alarmed—it’s his way of asking for attention, especially when he wants to play! He’s been misunderstood in the past, but in the right hands, he’ll flourish into the perfect, devoted best friend. If you’re ready to offer Barnabus the care, understanding, and love he deserves, he’s ready to meet you! Fill out an application today to bring this playful and protective boy into your life.

Story
Denny is and incredibly loving 7/8 year old Cocker Spaniel. He is just happy to be around his people and will immediately claim a chair or couch to call his own. He loves chasing my other dog around the yard and will happily chase a ball you throw, just don't expect him to bring it back! What Denny needs: Denny needs a home where he can be let out in the middle of the day to potty. He loves walks but he is also content with yard access and play time. I think he would do well with kids 5+ but am uncertain about younger kids as he hasn't been exposed to them. He does get along with other dogs and cats. Denny's background: I got Denny from Red Rocks Animal Shelter around October of last year (2025) and there wasn't a ton of background info on him. I got Denny while with my ex and when the engagement ended, I tried to care for him myself but due to my own health issues, I've had difficulty keeping up with his care. Denny deserves a home where he can have his needs better met.

Story
Boone is a 2.5-year-old goofy, happy boy who is always smiling and wanting to have fun with his sister Ginger, his foster siblings, and his people.  Play groups are his fun time.  He loves running, toys, and treats.  Boone is extremely affectionate and wants his family to include him in all their activities.  He is quite the cuddler once he has had his exercise.  Boone’s foster mom is working with him on manners and commands.  He loves to please and is coming along nicely on his training.  His new family should expect to continue with his training which is not only a bonding experience but will provide Boone the structure he needs to provide him with confidence.  Boone and Ginger’s owner died, and they were surrendered to a shelter.  They are very bonded and will only be adopted together.  Boone and Ginger will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence.  Boone and Ginger love to go on squirrel patrol and will need daily exercise to keep them from getting into mischief - they are both athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by their family.  Multiple walks a day are mandatory for their well-being and good manners.  These two would also be great with runners who would love to have these two by their side.  Boone and Ginger are the perfect pair for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.  Boone is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Boone’s adoption fee is $400 (combined adoption fee for Boone and Ginger is $800.00).   If you are interested in making Boone and Ginger members of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab.  If you have questions after you complete the application, please contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. July 23, 2026, 7:41 pm

Story
Ginger is a 4-year-old cuddle bug who loves nothing better than being with her people and her brother, Boone.  Ginger and Boone came into rescue when their owner died.  They are very bonded and will need to be adopted together.   Ginger is super friendly and loves being with her people.  She is very affectionate and will gladly soak up all the attention, belly, rubs, and cuddles that you have to offer.  In addition to her brother, Ginger loves all dogs and is good with mature children.  She is smart and eager to learn.  She is soaking up training with her foster mom.  Ginger and Boone will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence.  Ginger and Boone love to go on squirrel patrol and will need daily exercise to keep them from getting into mischief - they are both athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by their family.  Multiple walks a day are mandatory for their well-being and good manners.  These two would also be great with runners who would love to have these two by their side.  Ginger and Boone are the perfect pair for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.  Ginger is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Ginger’s adoption fee is $400 (combined adoption fee for Ginger and Boone is $800.00).   If you are interested in making Ginger and Boone members of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab.

Story
Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs.  Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk.  She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day.  She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.   Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it. Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.  Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy. Bella is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200 ($150.00 for a senior).  If you are interested in making Bella a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  Please realize all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis.   July 23, 2026, 7:41 pm
