Story
Hi there! I’m Halsey, an 8-year-old, 18lb Cavalier mix girl looking for my forever home! I’m what you might call the perfect package - I’m house broken, friendly to everyone I meet, and I absolutely LOVE my people! I’m totally chill with sleeping in my crate at night, but let’s be real… my favorite spot is cuddling with you on the sofa! I get along great with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling to play with in the yard. I’m probably best with older, dog-savvy kids. Just a little heads up - I was found in the middle of a busy road, so I might try to dash out the door sometimes, but I’m a good listener and getting better every day! I’m great in the car and sit perfectly, which makes me the ideal road trip buddy! I’m an Instafit girl who loves to run and play outside, but when we’re inside? Total snuggle bug mode activated! I’m the best of both worlds - playful when you want adventure, cuddly when you want to relax. Could I be your perfect match? Apply here: www.floridacockerrescue.org Adoption Fee: $350

Story
Hi friends! I’m Arthur, a 10-year-old cocker spaniel mix boy with a gorgeous coat and a full tail that wags non-stop! I’m 30lbs of pure sweetness looking for my happily ever after. My story is pretty wild – I was found as a stray in an overcrowded California shelter the week before Christmas, and I was pretty sick. But a Good Samaritan couldn’t leave me behind, rescued me, and brought me all the way to Florida where I was nursed me back to health! Now FCCR is helping find me my forever home. I LOVE people (including older dog-savvy kids) and would do best in a calm household where someone’s around most of the day. I’m a total lovebug who adores being with my humans! I will roll over for belly rubs whenever anyone talks to me…even in an elevator and that’s how I greet my foster mom when she comes home. It’s my signature move…i roll over to collect my tummy tax! That said, I do fine when left home alone too. I’m fully housebroken, polite (no barking or chewing!), and I have excellent house manners. I wait to be invited onto furniture and take treats so gently. I love to explore, love to run, and love to cuddle. I get along with other calm dogs but don’t know about cats. I walk great on a leash even near busy streets, and I’m super chill – loud noises don’t faze me one bit! Here’s what you need to know about me: I have great hearing but have limited vision (blind in one eye, limited in the other). I am a pretty confident guy and I can map out my surroundings quickly but I’m not comfortable with staircases (a few steps are fine). I take daily eye drops like an absolute champ! I Because of my eyesight, I would do best with a calm doggie sibling who doesn’t mind me getting really close to them. Conversely if a dog startles me by getting too close (even just to be friendly) I may bark and retreat — it can be a little scary when someone is in your face. You know, personal space and all. Oh, and I just learned how to play and did my first zoomie – talk about living my best life! Could you be the forever family this sweet senior has been waiting for? Story
Hi ya, I’m Georgie! I’m a 4-year-old, 26 lb Cocker Spaniel boy, and I’m basically a fun-loving goofball wrapped in a beautiful coat! Let me tell you about myself! I’m the kind of guy who lives life at full speed with maximum enthusiasm. I’m happy, playful, and I LOVE being in your face because you’re just so awesome! When I’m in the yard, I turn into a silly acrobat—I run around like a whirlwind, jump up to get your attention, and chase lizards like it’s my Olympic sport! Spoiler alert: I haven’t caught one yet, but that doesn’t stop me from trying! I’m good with other dogs and would absolutely LOVE an active doggie sibling to match my energy and keep up with all my shenanigans. I have good house manners and I don’t mind the crate. I’m super excited to ride in the car (road trip buddy right here!), and I’m very food motivated, which means training with treats is going to be a breeze for us! Full transparency: I pull on the leash because I just get SO excited about everything, but with some leash training from my new owner, I’ll be walking like a gentleman in no time! Here’s the important stuff: I need a cocker-savvy adopter or family who understands my breed and can handle my high energy and enthusiasm. I’m not a good fit for homes with kids—I need a household that can give me the structure and attention I thrive on. If you’re looking for a silly, playful, lizard-chasing companion who will keep you laughing and on your toes, I’m your guy! Visit www.floridacockerrescue.org to apply! ADOPTION FEE: $350
