Hi, I’m Tony!
I’m a handsome 2-year-old English Cocker Spaniel with soulful eyes, a gorgeous black-and-tan coat, and a personality that’s every bit as big as my good looks!
I’m a young guy who loves being with my person. In fact, I’m a true Velcro Cocker! Once I decide you’re my person, I want to be close to you and involved in whatever you’re doing.
One of my favorite hobbies is carrying treasures around! Tennis balls, toys, rocks… if I find something interesting, there’s a pretty good chance I’ll want to carry it along on my walk. I enjoy playing fetch too, although sometimes I need a little convincing that giving the ball back is part of the game.
I also LOVE to swim! Put me near the water and I’ll happily show you my swimming skills. Having a pool isn’t a requirement for my forever home, but if you happen to have one, well… that’s just an extra bonus in my book!
I’m a Cocker with a big personality, so I’m looking for someone who understands me and can give me the patience, consistency, and time I need to feel comfortable and build trust.
New situations and unfamiliar people can make me anxious, and I can be vocal when I see strangers or other dogs on walks. I’m currently taking medication to help with my anxiety, and it’s making a positive difference for me.
I’d do best in a home without children. I may be happiest as your one-and-only dog, although I could potentially live with a calm, easygoing dog who respects my space.
So, what am I looking for? My person. Someone who appreciates a handsome young Cocker with a big personality, a loyal heart, and plenty of love to give. Give me the time to get to know you, and I’ll be your devoted companion for life.
