Story
**Meet Jackson** Well hello there! I’m Jackson, a strikingly handsome 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel boy weighing in at 33lbs, and I’m on the hunt for my forever home! Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Wow, what a good-looking fella!” – and you’re absolutely right! But trust me, my charm goes way deeper than just these movie-star looks! Let me tell you what my foster mommy says about me (and spoiler alert: it’s all good stuff!). I’ve got impeccable house manners, I know my basic commands, and I’m basically a gentleman. I get along fabulously with dogs my size or smaller – it’s just those big guys that make me a bit nervous and barky. Speaking of barking, I also tend to sound the alarm when strangers walk by on our walks or pass the front of the house. Maybe it’s the protector in me? Foster mommy is helping me work on my manners, and since I’m a VERY smart boy (her words, but I agree!), I’m learning fast! Oh, and about walks – I used to pull a bit because the world is SO exciting, but I’m doing better and working hard every day to improve! Now here’s where I really shine: I am a certified CUDDLE BUG at heart! I absolutely LOVE attention, giving kisses, receiving kisses, back scratches, tummy rubs – basically all the good stuff! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection and stay by your side, that’s me! Ready to make me part of your family? I promise to bring love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles to your home! Fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org today! ADOPTION FEE: $350

Story
Hi ya, I’m Georgie! I’m a 4-year-old, 26 lb Cocker Spaniel boy, and I’m basically a fun-loving goofball wrapped in a beautiful coat! Let me tell you about myself! I’m the kind of guy who lives life at full speed with maximum enthusiasm. I’m happy, playful, and I LOVE being in your face because you’re just so awesome! When I’m in the yard, I turn into a silly acrobat—I run around like a whirlwind, jump up to get your attention, and chase lizards like it’s my Olympic sport! Spoiler alert: I haven’t caught one yet, but that doesn’t stop me from trying! I’m good with other dogs and would absolutely LOVE an active doggie sibling to match my energy and keep up with all my shenanigans. I have good house manners and I don’t mind the crate. I’m super excited to ride in the car (road trip buddy right here!), and I’m very food motivated, which means training with treats is going to be a breeze for us! Full transparency: I pull on the leash because I just get SO excited about everything, but with some leash training from my new owner, I’ll be walking like a gentleman in no time! Here’s the important stuff: I need a cocker-savvy adopter or family who understands my breed and can handle my high energy and enthusiasm. I’m not a good fit for homes with kids—I need a household that can give me the structure and attention I thrive on. If you’re looking for a silly, playful, lizard-chasing companion who will keep you laughing and on your toes, I’m your guy! Visit www.floridacockerrescue.org to apply! ADOPTION FEE: $350

Story
Helloooooo, Facebook Family!! I’m so happy to be here with the ladies of FCCR and so thankful they rescued me from the local shelter. I’m a happening guy and love to be out and about. Do you have a car? I LOVE car rides and I’m the first one to say let’s go!! My name is Peter and I’m still a youngster and very playful — even goofy sometimes. I’m only 3 years old and a full-tailed, 34 lb black cocker spaniel boy. I am quite handsome, don’t you think? I’m a friendly guy and want to please my humans. I’m very smart … I’m crate-trained…and would love to take some training classes with my peeps. The only thing I am asking for is to be your one and ONLY dog. I have so much love to give…I don’t want to share my humans with anyone else. Are you ready to open your home and heart to me? Please send the ladies your application through the website: www.floridacockerrescue.org. ADOPTION FEE: $325
