Story
Greetings, Humans! I'm Hank Jr! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Hank, a dashing 18-month-old French Brittany with movie-star looks, a comedian's timing, and ears expertly designed for maximum adorability. At a lean and athletic 30 pounds, I'm the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and showing off my zoomies in a fenced backyard. Everyone tells me I'm handsome, but I try to stay humble. (It's difficult when you're this cute.) Life has been teaching me lots of new things. I didn't have much experience with grass before coming to my foster home, so I've been learning the fine art of outdoor potty etiquette. I'm almost completely house-trained and working hard toward earning my "100% Good Boy" certificate. I can be a little shy when meeting new people or hearing loud noises. Think of me as a sensitive soul with a big heart. Once I trust you, you'll discover that I'm affectionate, silly, and always ready to make you laugh. My résumé includes: Professional leash walker Excellent passenger on car rides Certified Dog Treat Specialist Milk-Bone Enthusiast Non-destructive house guest Expert snuggle recipient I'd especially love a canine sibling to help me navigate this big exciting world. A fenced yard would be my dream playground, and a patient family willing to cheer me on as I continue building confidence would make me the happiest boy alive. In return, I promise loyalty, laughter, companionship, and approximately one million loving looks per year. So, what do you think? Could your family use a handsome little sidekick with a goofy grin and a heart of gold? My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me (and other fabulous, rescued Brittanys) in excellent condition for a fabulous new home. You do not have to live in Tennessee, NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my furever home. Please contact Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.com to find out more about me! Story
This is Pete — your future best friend, ball‑retrieving champion, and lovable goof with a heart of gold.   When Pete first arrived at NBRAN, he was completely blind due to cataracts. Thanks to quick action and a successful surgery, Pete now sees the world with bright curiosity… and he’s determined to chase every ball in it. Fetch isn’t just his favorite game — it’s his passion, his hobby, and his personal mission. Pete is a quirky guy in the best way. He sometimes gets fascinated by light and shadows, and like many Brittanys, he has been known to sample things that aren’t exactly food. Outdoors, he needs supervision around sticks and acorns, but most of the time he’s far too busy joyfully retrieving his ball to bother with them.  but Pete is affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully silly. He loves belly rubs, car rides, exploring a fenced yard, and cuddling up when he’s tired. He’s great on leash, has perfect recall, and is eager to please. He’s social with adults and older considerate kids — but he must be the only dog in the home. No exceptions. Healthy, happy, and full of charm, Pete is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless ball‑retrieving adventures to the right family. His foster mom adores him… and once you meet him, you will too. Precious Pete's adoption Fee is $400 to help offset medical expenses. NBRAN will provide transportation, up to 1400 miles, to an approved home. Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad.
