Story
Hi, my name is Donny 🤍 I’m a female Jindo mix, I weigh about 18kg (40 lb), and I’m 3 years old. From the time I was very young, I lived tied up in front of a factory. I never got to leave that spot. I was just… there. A short leash. A few fixed steps I could take. And a space I had to protect—because no one else would. That factory wasn’t a playground or a place to rest. It was my entire world. A world where surviving was the only goal. I never learned how to meet people freely. I never learned how to make dog friends. My role was simple: guard my space, stay alive. Because of that life, I never had the chance to learn how to socialize with other dogs. When you grow up having to protect your space to survive, “other dogs” don’t feel like friends to play with. They can feel like something you must guard against. Not because you are aggressive— but because no one ever taught you another way. So if I seem uncomfortable around other dogs, please know this isn’t a flaw in my personality. It’s simply the mark of a life where I was never given the chance to learn. That’s why I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. A home where, for the first time, I don’t have to share love— but can receive it fully, completely, for the rest of my life. I spent so long tied up, never chosen, never held. Just once, I want to be someone’s everything. With people, I am incredibly gentle. Soft-hearted, affectionate, and full of sweet charm. I love human attention more than anything. Real home life is new to me. Even though I’m three years old, my heart is still like a puppy’s— playful, curious, and easily surprised by the world. If I’m adopted, I’ll need to learn everything from the beginning: potty training, living inside a home, sharing everyday life with people. That’s why I need a family who won’t rush me, who will wait, who will teach me with patience and love. Someone who will walk at my pace. Slowly. Gently. Respectfully. Please— just look at me once. I truly believe that if I meet my family, I will return the love I missed for so long many times over. I’ll be a loyal, devoted, and deeply loving companion— the kind of dog you can walk beside for a lifetime 🤍

Story
Meet Clory 🐾 Clory is a gentle, 3-year-old Jindo mix with a calm and sweet nature. She’s the kind of dog who loves to relax, snooze, and quietly enjoy the company of the people she trusts. She was rescued just in time and transferred to Dream Tails with other furry friends after being scheduled for euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Korea. Thanks to this second chance, Clory is now looking for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe. Clory gets along well with other dogs, especially those who share her laid-back energy. She enjoys affection and happily leans into cuddles and gentle pets. As she likely never lived inside a home before, she will need patience and guidance with potty training. However, given her calm temperament, she is expected to adapt well to home life. When left alone, Clory is likely to be respectful and relaxed, with a low risk of destructive behavior or separation anxiety—though, like any dog, she will benefit from reassurance and routine. Clory would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a peaceful, loving dog to share quiet moments and unconditional affection. 💛

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi… my name is Koon 🐾I’m a 1 year and 6 month old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting. When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me.So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. If you take the time to show me the world from your side, I’ll give you something back that’s even bigger—my trust, my love, and my whole heart. For me, simple things like walking together, resting side by side, and sharing everyday moments… those are dreams I’ve been waiting for. Maybe… you’re the family I’ve been waiting for? It might be a little awkward at first, but over time, I’ll become your most loyal companion—the one who loves you more sincerely than anyone else. Will you be my first real family? 🐶💛
