Story
Gizmo is a German Spitz. He was born on 5-18-2023. He went through at least 2 owners before coming to Pals. When we got him, he was a very frightened little dog, who acted out of fear when strangers approached. He was also a typical Spitz when it came to protecting his owner. We have had him in the program for awhile as we worked on his behavior. He had to go into boarding at Wag'en Tail ranch for several days. Well, that was the best thing that could have happened to Gizmo as he overcame his fear and was a totally different dog when he was picked up. We applaud the staff at Wag'en Tail as they must have broken through his fear and let him know that strangers are not bad. We thank them for that. So now little Giz is ready for adoption, but to a home that understands the Spitz breeds. We are looking for an experienced home with this breed type, and one that would have a dog that he could play with, as he really wants to have his own play dog, preferable a female. He would do best in an adult home. This breed is very smart and active, and would be a great companion and protector when needed. He is about 12 lbs, house and crate trained. He has his favorite ball that he loves to throw up in the air and then catch., which will come with him when adopted. We are located in Wichita, Kansas. following is a link to our application. This handsome ginger guy is Jupiter! He is a beloved boarding dog and would love a home outside of the Wichita city limits! Jupiter is very well trained and loves to show off his tricks! He sits beautifully and when asked to shake will shake the heck out of ya. He loves to walk, does well on leash and has the cutest little grunts on his walks. Jupiter needs time to warm up to some strangers, especially men, but once he does he's your next BFF! He's a very goofy, happy and smart boy who needs a strong leader in the home. This guy loves butt scritches, rubs on you like a cat and will give you licks of affection. Jupiter struggles with anxiety including storms and fireworks but he's kennel trained like a pro and just wants a comfy place to call home! This boy needs to be the only pet in the home where he can demand and receive ALL of the attention he deserves. Due to his PDD determination Jupiter will need an adopter or foster outside the city limits of Wichita.

Dutch is a cuddle seeker who loves affection and has a playful side once he feels comfortable. He’s looking for a home that understands his need for time and reassurance, and in return, he’ll give endless love and loyalty.
