Story
4 year old Trini is a shelter sweetheart, with a lovely disposition, and very popular with the volunteers, as she is a calming influence. Trini was abandoned on a road near the SPCA PV sanctuary and was lucky to be taken into care as she was malnourished, and surely tired from trying to survive. She is a mixed breed – our guess is lab shepherd cross, with a beautiful lean physique and expressive eyes. She is full grown at 41 lbs. Trini is a wise girl, who reads people and dogs well. If they seem threatening, she avoids them, but if welcoming, she approaching with kindness. Trini is also good with cats showing a similar wise approach when she was tested. She would ignore them in a non threatening way, and then explore smelling them when it felt safe. Trini is also good in the car, curious about the adventure, and she has been a shelter ambassador at a Saturday market. Trini is healthy, spayed and vaccinated and looking for a better life with a family who will love her. Trini is in care at the sanctuary in Mexico but has flight options to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Seattle. This girl is a gem!

Story
Lester is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find his new family soon! To help, his adoption fee has been sponsored by generous donors!EHS volunteer comment: "Lester couldn't be more perfect! From the moment I met Lester I could tell he has such an amazing and loving soul. He loves people, and loves to show his affection by bringing you his toys! He knows tricks, and loves to shake a paw. Whoever gets the privilege of calling Lester a part of their family will be so so lucky."Are you ready to welcome a goofy, floppy-eared absolute cuddlebug of a dog into your life? Look no further than Lester, a charming yellow Lab mix.Lester adores people and wants to be around them all the time. He is also a toy enthusiast who would play all day if you let him. He loves to fetch balls and carry around his stuffed animals, often bringing them to you to play and even carrying them to bed. This guy loves liver treats and will happily show off his tricks (come, paw, sit, stay) to earn a yummy snack. Lester arrived at the shelter with an injured leg that was repaired by our vet team. He has been recovering wonderfully in foster. His foster family notes that he is housetrained, good with kids, and is just full of love, happiness, cuddles, and playtime. Lester will be very grateful for an adoptive family that will continue to support him on his journey back to full strength by limiting his exercise (for now) and taking him to doggy physio. Our adoptions team are happy to tell you all about how best to help Lester continue to heal so he can get back to zoomies and fetch. Lester is searching for a special adopter who will be diligent in carimg for his joint health as he grows older. To help him find this perfect home, his adoption fee is reduced. If you are looking to make a difference in the life of a sweet, friendly boy, consider adopting Lester! He will repay you tenfold in love, cuddles, and loyalty! https://youtu.be/eTw47D2HKA4https://youtu.be/2PDLZDa4DNQ Primary Color: Yellow Weight: 40.1 Age: 6yrs 2mths 2wks
