Meet Nube who is looking for a home. Nube is a 4.5 year old mixed breed, full grown at a perfect 45 lbs. We think she may be a lab cross, with a gorgeous white coat, and beautiful markings to round out her unique look. She shares space with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the yard with them. Nube is friendly and affectionate with shelter visitors with a lovely disposition. She is medium energy - with enough energy to keep up, but would also be grateful for some chill time to make up for missed cuddles. Mostly she would love her very own family. Nube hasn't been tested extensively with cats. She sees them without reacting, but for now, we will seek a home without cats to be sure. While Nube is lovely with people, she's not been specifically tested with kids. Nube is spayed and vaccinated. She is missing some of her front teeth - likely a result of escaping shackles or surviving on street scraps. EHS volunteer comment: "Nellie is her happiest when out for a walk. She walks beautifully on leash and is a polite and calm walker. When given the opportunity to run in an enclosed fenced area she is quite fun chasing her toys. She is a beautiful, sweet girl who loves her people, loves her walks and is a joy to be around. Her house training is amazing.!"Meet Nellie - a sweet, chatty girl with plenty to say and even more love to give! This lady is always happy to keep you company, whether she's telling you about her day or reminding you it's time for snacks (her favorite topic). Nellie does have some food allergies that have been well managed here in shelter, and the adoptions team will be happy to chat with you about what that looks like in the home. I love everyone and all the humans that meet me can’t stop raving about how I’m the sweetest most loving pup. I enjoy my daily walks and like to play with my squeaky toys and fetch them for a little bit but otherwise I’m a relatively low energy pup that loves my naps and cuddles. I cannot wait to meet my forever humans and give you all the love, kisses, and cuddles. Likes: cuddles, sleeping, foodDislikes: chicken, well I love it, but I’m a little itchy after so it’s best to avoid Special request: I am an older, big breed, so like so many others I have some hip pain sometimes. I have had X-rays which show hip dysplasia, but due to my age the vets would like to avoid surgery so I get some daily pain relief.
