Story
Meet Mia! This 8-year-old Labradoodle weighs in at 111 lbs. This sweet girl is searching for a loving family committed to spoiling her in her golden years.  General Behavior: Mia is a love bug with a personality to match her size. She is content to lay next to you all day but also loves to go outside and on walks. When coming home, Mia will greet you at the door with a toy she specially picks out for you. She is surprisingly spry for her age and will occasionally play with toys and try to run with other dogs.  Likes & Dislikes: Mia loves human attention, and will nudge your hand to be pet. She also loves to cuddle on the couch and typically settles there from after dinner to bedtime. Mia gets added veggies to her meals, as she can be a picky eater, and Brussels sprouts are her favorite! Mia is not a fan of water or being confined to an area.  Training: Mia has done well with her housetraining and will let you know when she needs to go out. She has good basic manners and doesn’t mind car rides. She is still working on her leash-walking skills.  Medical: Sweet Mia came into care morbidly obese, weighing in at 124 lbs. She has been on a weight loss regimen that involves scheduled and portioned quality meals, veggies for snacks, and exercise. She will require an adopter, committed to keeping her on this regimen and assisting her with getting to a healthy weight. Mia also has an underactive thyroid and requires medication once a day. This runs only about $2 for a 30-day supply. Aside from this, she will also require her monthly heartworm and flea prevention.  Other Animals: Mia enjoys other dogs and does well with those of all sizes and energy levels. She is interested in cats, but is good with them too! Children: Due to her size and age, a home with no children or older children (8-10+) would be best for Mia.  Home: Mia likes to be heard and is working on her ‘inside voice.´So she doesn’t disturb the neighbors, a single-family home will be required. She would love a secure, fenced-in yard but as long as she is taken on frequent walks, it is not required. Mia would not be able to navigate stairs well, a single-story home would be best for her.  Grooming: Mia will require grooming about every 6-8 weeks or so. She will also need to be brushed regularly.   Overall: Marvelous Mia is an adorable gal with a lot of love to give. She is easygoing once she has a routine and is very smart! Can you help Mia reach her weight-loss goal and provide her with lots of love? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed.  Her adoption donation is $300. ##1570728##

Story
Hank is a sweet 6-year old lab mix, weighing approximately 48 lbs. He is very calm and laid back around the house, but loves to be taken for walks and runs. He would do best in a home without young kids (ages 4+ would be best). He is up to date on vaccinations, rides very well in a car, and is overall such a sweet dog. He will come with his dog bed, leash, harness, and his favorite toys.

Story
Xion is a 1 year old playful dog with lots of energy. He loves to be with family and has lots of energy he loves car rides going to the dog park and cuddles. Xion does not have any health issues besides protein allergies to certain foods like beef and chicken. We are currently searching for a new home for Xion with a family that has both the space (backyard) and time to be able to care for him. We are not asking for a rehoming fee being that our goal is to have him go to a great home that can show him the love that we have for the past year as he’s become a part of our family.
