Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $450 - Like his namesake from Superbad, McLovin’ is unforgettable — full of confidence, big energy, and always ready for whatever adventure comes next. This young retriever mix is bursting with zest for life. Whether it’s a hike, a game of fetch, or just zooming around the yard, McLovin’ tackles everything with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He’s a total sweetheart with people of all ages and greets everyone like they’re his new best friend. That said, McLovin’ is still working on his manners. He can be quite jumpy, and his excitement sometimes gets the better of him — which means little ones could get accidentally knocked over. He would thrive with a family committed to putting in the time and training he needs to channel his energy in positive ways. McLovin’ has shown some possessiveness over food, toys, and treats, so his new home must be willing to continue working on these behaviours with patience and consistency. With the right guidance, he has so much potential to grow into a truly exceptional companion. He’ll need a cat-free home, but he may do well with another dog. We recommend meet-and-greets with any potential canine siblings, as McLovin’ can come on a bit strong when making new friends. This wonderful boy is ready for a high-energy household that’s up for adventure and dedicated to helping him become the very best version of himself. With structure, love, and training, McLovin’ is going to absolutely flourish.
