This young retriever mix is bursting with zest for life. Whether it’s a hike, a game of fetch, or just zooming around the yard, McLovin’ tackles everything with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He’s a total sweetheart with people of all ages and greets everyone like they’re his new best friend. That said, McLovin’ is still working on his manners. He can be quite jumpy, and his excitement sometimes gets the better of him — which means little ones could get accidentally knocked over. He would thrive with a family committed to putting in the time and training he needs to channel his energy in positive ways. McLovin’ has shown some possessiveness over food, toys, and treats, so his new home must be willing to continue working on these behaviours with patience and consistency. With the right guidance, he has so much potential to grow into a truly exceptional companion. He’ll need a cat-free home, but he may do well with another dog. We recommend meet-and-greets with any potential canine siblings, as McLovin’ can come on a bit strong when making new friends. This wonderful boy is ready for a high-energy household that’s up for adventure and dedicated to helping him become the very best version of himself. With structure, love, and training, McLovin’ is going to absolutely flourish.

Come visit me at Petsmart on Saturday March 7th.Adoption fee: $450This is Doug! A sweet boy who had no concept of personal space. If you`ve got a lap to lay on and a face to lick, then Doug is the boy for you. This sweet boy loves to go go go, and he would do best in an active home who can keep up with this young busybody. Doug would do well in a home with older, less tippable children. He`s a good guy who`s excited to jump up and say hello. Owners must be up for training for basic manners. At a year and a half old, Doug is full of potential and can blossom into a wonderful companion with some gentle guidance. Doug has done well in shelter with other dogs, and would like to meet any resident dogs in your home before being adopted. He does not get along well with cats or other small animals, so its dogs only for Doug. Doug loves to play fetch and is a gentle guy who will run back and drop the ball at your feet. He has a warm and friendly temperament and is shaped like a friend.
