She loves to stay active and will thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, structure, and opportunities to learn. Luna is a BIG fan of tennis balls, loves chasing bubbles, and thinks treat puzzles are the best kind of brain workout! She's affectionate with the people she knows, but can be shy and cautious with new people and unfamiliar situations. Her ideal person will understand that trust takes time and be happy to let her set the pace while celebrating her progress along the way. She'll do best in a home with no small animals, and when it comes to doggy friends, she's more "let's see how we vibe" than "best friends with everyone.With consistency, structure, and positive encouragement, Luna is ready to blossom in her furever home! If you're looking for an active dog and are willing to invest the time and training that Luna needs-and have plenty of tennis balls and treats on hand-she may be your perfect match!If you would like to meet Luna, we are booking appointments for her meet and greets ahead of time. Be it a leisurely walk, a game in the yard, showing off her many tricks or simply being by your side, Midnight is full of love, energy, and a friendly spirit. With so much love to give, Midnight is looking for someone who will see beyond her special needs and appreciate the incredible companion she is.Midnight has spondylosis, which is an age-related condition that causes changes in the bones along the spine. This can sometimes affect her movement and ability to lift her tail. She may occasionally be a little unsteady when walked on a collar, so using a harness is recommended.Midnight has also been prescribed medication to help with bladder control, which her adopter will need to continue as directed by her veterinarian.For more information about spondylosis visit: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=8640798Midnight has shown reactions to loud vehicles and has displayed excitement seeing other animals on leash. Midnight has had positive interactions with other dogs and may be a wonderful addition to a home with a canine companion!
