Introducing Crew! Crew is an adorable Retriever and maybe Terrier blend puppy who is approximately 5 months old and currently weighs 25 pounds. He came to our rescue, along with his brother Buckeye, from the Weslaco Shelter in south Texas near the border of Mexico. It was clear that these brothers had not been well cared for but after a few weeks here with us getting proper care and nutrition, they have really begun to blossom. We don’t know who mom and dad are, so we have no way of knowing what size the puppies will be full-grown. We are guessing them to be in the 40 to 50 pound range, but can’t really be sure. But we ARE sure that they are super cute and will be loving companions! Crew is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet, social and likes to romp around and explore. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys being held. He is learning how fun toys are and is always ready for new adventures. We can really see Crew doing well growing up in just about any family environment. He would be a wonderful addition for an active family who can give him lots of exercise and enrichment to help him be the best puppy he can be! Crew is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. There were 18 PUPPIES and 12 ADULTS in this group.... we ALL got saved!! So, we are a mix of probably 10 different breeds, all seen by the adults... pitbull, spaniel, shar pei, scruffy terrier, and maybe dachshund in there too :D So if you are looking for a SUPER CUTE, SMART, fluffy/not fluffy/short/not short puppy... This is Halligan, a 3 year old Flat Coat Retriever who is in desparate need of a home.  His owner is in the military and leaving San Antonio, Texas on Friday, October 27.  He will turn him into our very high kill shelter at that time.   I was just made aware of the situation.  Halligan is an extremely friendly and family pet who loves kids but only good with his pet companion Akira who is also availabile for adoption.  If you can give him a home please submit an application on the website below or give me a call so we can save his life.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
