This sweet girl is looking for her forever family! She would absolutely flourish in a home with a large yard, acreage, or a farm. She lives for being outside, following scents, and “hunting” all the smells the world has to offer. The outdoors is where she’s happiest. 🚗 Car rides: Does great 🐕 Dogs: Good with other dogs — she and my dog Birdie play constantly 🦴 Leash walks: Walks well after she’s had time to get her sniffing and energy out 🏠 Crate: Sleeps in a crate without whining or barking 🚽 Potty training: A work in progress — she lets me know when she needs to go out, but consistency is still developing 🐱 Cats: Unknown If you have the land, the time, and the patience, she would make an incredible companion. She truly deserves a home where she can be outside, explore, and just be herself. Please reach out if you think you might be her person ❤️

Sweet Nugget might be one of the most unusual short stacks we've ever had. We think he is mixed with Basset Hound and Catahoula, but who really knows. He loves to romp in the play yard and really wants all the head scratches you can give. Toy obsessed and very food motivated!Nugget is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
