Meet Sera: Sera is a 7.5-month-old, 34 lb Foxhound and an all around bundle of love. She has a beautiful red coat with light brown eyes and nose! She is like a wobbly baby deer sometimes, learning how her long legs work. Sera is a calm (for a puppy) and loving dog. She loves to follow you, play with her toys, and be cuddled. Sera is not a fan of the crate but is house trained for the most part, and will sleep next to you on a dog bed on the floor. Sera is being fostered with a 10 lb chihuahua foster sister. She is very curious of the little dog and friendly. She probably would benefit from a canine playmate but she equally entertains herself. She throws balls outside for herself and always has a toy by her side indoors for chewing. Sera loves running, a fenced in yard is a must so she cTo adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. Her forever home should be ready to show her the world is a beautiful and happy place. Sera is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $300.00.

Isabel is a very sweet girl. She enjoys her long walks and does well on a leash. She does seam fine with most dogs however we would require a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home. Adopted as a puppy in 2020, he has recently found himself back in a shelter after his family faced a tough situation—losing their job and having to move in with others who couldn’t accept him. It`s heartbreaking to think of how his world has flipped upside down, leaving him bewildered and longing for the love and security he once knew. From the warmth of a cozy bed to the stark reality of a cold kennel floor, Alpha deserves so much better. He is a gentle soul who has so much love to give. He is crate and house trained  He can be trusted loose in the house he is good with dogs!  He has a calm loving energy He stays close to his people even when off leash He is dog park ready & does great with pack play. He is very smart and knows some commands He is up-to-date on his vaccines, microchipped & neutered   Rocky is a mild mannered older gentleman at almost 8 years old. He coexists very well with other dogs but doesn't do well with cats. He was adopted one time in his 3 years with us, it lasted for about 3 weeks and that's when we realized that cats were a no go. He is potty trained and affectionate, he loves men and women. High energy children would stress him, so we are looking for a home with no kids or children over 10 years.    If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application.
