Zelda is kind of a silly name for a beautiful girl like me, UNTIL I discovered that I was named after the "Legend of Zelda" :) She is absolutely amazing and really TOUGH. Well the game she is in is the TOUGHEST game EVER :) Ok, well that is what all the preteen boys say about the game, lol.... So Zelda is my name and I IDENTIFY as a tough girl on the outside and a sweet girl on the inside :D I love everyone and play HARD with my friends.I am so very cute too. I am a great sized girl, about 40#, compact and playful... I want a friend or two in my new furever home. I want a nice house, nice bed and maybe even a fireplace?? I don't think that is too much to ask in this weather! I was found on the streets during a "stray count" performed several times a year in San Antonio. I was hurt, and the "counter" asked for the rescue to help me and they did!!! I have been hanging here, am healthy and smart and beautiful!! ADOPT ME SOON!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Henrietta! Miss Henry is 35lb., female, Hound mix. She is fully Vetted., crate and potty trained, and walks well on leash. She loves other dogs and I would recommend a home that already has (at least) one dog, if not more. She is fine with cats. Children need to mind their Ps and Qs with her only because chaos frightens her. Henry, Henrietta was found running around in backyards and a huge pond area for weeks. This girl kept me running up to Huber Hts. every night for two weeks working on gaining her confidence. Poor baby was scared of her own shadow and that hasnt improved much. She will need an adopter with a great deal of patience and understanding but the love is well worth the wait. She is scared of sudden movements, loud noises and abhors any change in her routine, once you have one established. Miss Henry will need a home with a fenced yard. Having said all that, Henrietta is a complete love, once she trusts you. She has the softest fur and is the most beautiful fawn color. This baby will be hard to part with and I will be extremely picky when it comes to choosing her furever home, she will come to you carrying a piece of my heart but she needs a family to call her very own, is that your family?

Isabel is a very sweet girl. She enjoys her long walks and does well on a leash. She does seam fine with most dogs however we would require a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home. LADY is long and low and simply gorgeous. She's a basset hound/beagle type mix, about 18 months old and fully grown at 32 pounds. She is an absolutely delightful girl who loves everyone she meets. She was a family pet who was surrendered through no fault of her own, her family was moving and couldn't take her along. Lady lived with kids, is dog friendly and ignores the cat in her foster home. She's confident and playful. She loves to run and romp and play and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her nose into trouble. Lady is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Lady, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Lady at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
