Story
Hi, I’m Estrella 💫 I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who truly loves being close to my people. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, I’m your girl. I’ll happily sit right next to you (or on you, if you let me!) and soak up all the love. I’m also very treat motivated… although I do have a bit of a refined palate and can be picky about which treats earn my approval. I can be nervous when meeting new people, so I’m looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give me the time and space I need to feel safe and build trust. Once I’m comfortable, my loving personality really shines. I’ll need a home without children under 14. I also prefer to be the center of attention, but I may be able to live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. One important thing to know about me: I have been known to jump fences, so I’ll need close supervision anytime I’m outside to keep me safe. I’ve been waiting over 100 days for my forever home, which makes me a Featured Pet. My adoption fee is waived, I just need the right person to give me a chance. I’m also eligible for foster if you’d like to get to know me first. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to go at my pace, I might just be your perfect match. Come meet me and see if we’re meant to be 💛

Story
Millie is a sweetheart who just needs a moment to catch her breath before showing you who she really is. New situations can make her a little unsure, but once she realizes she`s safe, her whole demeanor changes. Suddenly the timid dog is wagging her tail, seeking out affection, and happily soaking up attention from the people around her. She has a gentle, curious nature and clearly wants to connect, even if she needs a little reassurance first. Millie is looking for a patient family that understands confidence grows with kindness. Shelter life has been overwhelming for her, but each positive interaction has helped her blossom a little more. She walks nicely on leash, enjoys spending time outside, and has shown just how affectionate she can be once she settles in. If you`re the kind of person who loves watching a shy dog discover that the world isn`t so scary after all, Millie will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and a heart full of love. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter`s care. Story
I am looking to rehome a hound dog of unknown age. The dog was found by my adult son several years ago and my son took him in. My son passed away 3 years ago and I have been keeping the dog since this time as I do not know anyone who will keep him. He is a very sweet dog, but I live in town and he is kept the majority of the time on a leash outside. I can only bring him into the house when the weather is extreme because I have a small dog that will not stop barking whenever he is near. I am older and cannot take the dog for regular walks and he seems to be getting progressively sadder. He loves everyone and gets along with other dogs.
