Story
Hi, I’m Estrella 💫 I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who truly loves being close to my people. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, I’m your girl. I’ll happily sit right next to you (or on you, if you let me!) and soak up all the love. I’m also very treat motivated… although I do have a bit of a refined palate and can be picky about which treats earn my approval. I can be nervous when meeting new people, so I’m looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give me the time and space I need to feel safe and build trust. Once I’m comfortable, my loving personality really shines. I’ll need a home without children under 14. I also prefer to be the center of attention, but I may be able to live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. One important thing to know about me: I have been known to jump fences, so I’ll need close supervision anytime I’m outside to keep me safe. I’ve been waiting over 100 days for my forever home, which makes me a Featured Pet. My adoption fee is waived, I just need the right person to give me a chance. I’m also eligible for foster if you’d like to get to know me first. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to go at my pace, I might just be your perfect match. Come meet me and see if we’re meant to be 💛

** In a foster home; please call 812-349-3492 or email herre@bloomington.in.gov for more information**This sweet little wallflower is looking for a BFF that can hold her paw and show her the gentle kindness and patience that she needs while she learns to navigate this big, scary world. Dolly is slowly learning about all the great things she can do, and people she can meet when she leans into her curiosity, and a little love goes a long way! Dolly would love to have a calm and quiet home where she can open up and be herself, in her own time. Once she knows that you're her person, she gives all the love that her little body can hold, and is happiest when she's right at your side, snuggled up in your arms. Dolly cant wait to melt your heart and let you know that just like her namesake, she will always love you! Dolly will do best in a home with another dog.

Afton is well-mannered and eager to pleasefriendly happy go lucky and so darn sweet! He enjoys group play, daily pack walks, and meeting new people and dogs. Afton is amazing with dogs of all ages and sizes, cats too. He is very outgoing and amazing with children too. Afton is a follower if a dominant dog is present. He is active but not hyper and genuinely happy. Afton will make an extraordinary family dog with an active affectionate outgoing family. He has a hound-like personality. He is all heart! Basic obedience extraordinaire. He enjoys being active and learning and is extremely food and praise motivated. Afton makes training FUN! He Is a simple dog with a big heart full of love and ready to share it with everyone he meets. You will have fun with Afton. He knows how to make everyone smile, and laugh, and helps a difficult day become better. It comes naturally to him as he is very nurturing and sweet natured. Afton needs another dog in the home. He is a hound this alone makes him almost perfect. I promise you will not be disappointed. Afton is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, corona as well as rabies, de-wormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 3/25/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Meet Minnie! If loud and goofy basset hounds are your type, Minnie is sure to win you over. Minnie loves to romp around the yard, play “chase” with dog friends, and of course take sniffaris any chance she can. She has been working on potty training and crate training, and seems to be food motivated. She has a social, happy personality at home with her people, but can be shy in new situations. She would love a home where she can continue to learn about exploring the world, but is also happy as a clam to be a home body with all kinds of fun and enrichment. Minnie is a smidge taller than some basset hounds, but photos make her look even taller. Minnie is fully vetted and just over a year old. She is ready to head home when her new family comes along! Her adoption fee is $275. If you are interested in Minnie, head to farfetcheddogrescue.org for an application!

PLEASE READ: Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable dogs! All dogs listed are still available. If interested, please complete our no obligation application. This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org .
