Story
Zeus is a sweet young Beagle-Basset mix, estimated to be 3–4 years old. He’s a petite guy, weighing only about 20 lbs. He previously had a family, but they didn’t have time for him and had not provided any veterinary care. Since coming into rescue, he’s been making wonderful progress. Zeus can be a little timid with new people at first, but he grows more confident and social every day. He loves playing with other dogs, is a great eater, and is already very good with the dog door. Once he settles in, he becomes super affectionate, enjoys sleeping with his people, and is very playful with his canine friends. Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash.
