Morgan was found along with his Mom on the streets. Both were very friendly so it was obvious they were dumped by their owners. Mom got adopted already in London, Ontario and now Morgan patiently waits his turn. Morgan is super sweet, good with dogs, fine with cats and simply needs a forever home. He is utd vaccinations, neutered, dewormed, Snap4dx tested, microchipped, and comes with a vet Health Certificate. If interested, please email dcdgavel@gmail.com for an adoption application.

Story
Coco is a 5-year-old spayed American Foxhound searching for her perfect adventure buddy. At 35 pounds, she’s athletic, playful, affectionate, and always ready to follow her nose wherever life takes her, especially if that path includes squirrels.  Due to changing family circumstances, this sweet girl is now spending long days alone and is hoping to find a home with more time for fun, companionship, and love. True to her hound roots, Coco has a delight and approach to life with enthusiasm and curiosity. She loves walks, car rides, outdoor adventures, and being with her people. She has been working hard on her leash manners and adjusting to busy city life. Buses, scooters, bicycles, and other fast-moving “suspicious objects” can still cause her to startle and bark, but she continues to improve with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. At home, Coco is a quiet girl, though she does take her self-appointed neighbourhood watch duties seriously and will announce visitors at the door. Once she knows everyone is friendly, she settles quickly and is happy to say hello. Coco would thrive with an active family who enjoys the outdoors and will continue her positive reinforcement training journey. She has lived with children aged 7 and 17, tolerates handling well even when nervous at the vet, and is cooperative for grooming and brushing. She enjoys many other dogs and may do well with a playful canine companion if the match is right. She is housetrained, though recent routine changes have caused a few stress-related accidents. Coco is not destructive when left alone for short periods but may whine or pace while adjusting to a new environment.  She cannot be left in a crate as this highly stresses her.  With time, patience, and reassurance, she is expected to settle in beautifully. A securely fenced yard would be this sniffing enthusiast’s dream come true. Coco is affectionate, intelligent, funny, and deeply loyal. She’s looking for a family who will embrace her goofy hound charm, continue building her confidence, and love her exactly as she is:  floppy ears, curious nose, dramatic squirrel opinions and all.  June 8, 2026, 3:15 pm

Story
Mille Foxhound (short coat) Large Adult Female   Where are our hound lovers at?  Millie is a 65 pound, 7 year old female, Foxhound who is house trained, spayed, and up to date with her veterinary care.  Her family is looking for a new home for her as they no longer feel they can give her the care and time she needs.   Millie is an all round good girl who has lived with young children and a small dog and done well with both.  She has also done great with family and friends' dogs of various sizes.  She has no experience with cats.  She may be a little reserved initially with visitors but warms up quickly and is very friendly once she gets to know you.   Prior to the children joining her family, she was used to being left alone while her family worked full-time but in recent years they have been home more often and she has been fine being left alone 1-2 hours at a time.     Millie may need some help brushing up on her leash walking skills.  She is a hound and will follow her nose and also be eager to greet other dogs on walks.  She also enjoys her yard time in her current home.   Millie would love a new family who could spend quality time with her taking her for walks and along on their adventures.  In turn, she'll reward you with her gentle, easy going, and affectionate nature.    June 8, 2026, 3:15 pm
