Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX)

Story
Looking for a loving, experienced home for our 5yr old Beagle/Foxhound. This is something my husband and I have been very hesitant to do. We got him when he was just 8 weeks old, and he has been part of our family for five years. Rehoming him is not something we ever wanted, but we have reached a point where we feel it may be what is best for him and our family. He is a good dog, and we love him dearly. However, he has become increasingly difficult for us to manage. After experiencing more freedom and being around a female dog, his behavior and drive to get out have intensified. Despite having a one-acre yard, he has become extremely determined to dig his way out, and keeping him safely contained has become a constant struggle. We want to be honest about his behavior because finding the right home for him is so important. I’m available for any questions! I can’t put much in here!
