Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. Looking for a loving, experienced home for our 5yr old Beagle/Foxhound. This is something my husband and I have been very hesitant to do. We got him when he was just 8 weeks old, and he has been part of our family for five years. Rehoming him is not something we ever wanted, but we have reached a point where we feel it may be what is best for him and our family. He is a good dog, and we love him dearly. However, he has become increasingly difficult for us to manage. After experiencing more freedom and being around a female dog, his behavior and drive to get out have intensified. Despite having a one-acre yard, he has become extremely determined to dig his way out, and keeping him safely contained has become a constant struggle. We want to be honest about his behavior because finding the right home for him is so important. I’m available for any questions! I can’t put much in here!

Maple (10/1/24) is a sweet gentle hound mix that sea a stray brought through Animal Control Services in Washington County. Maple is around 45 pounds, approximately 2 years old and was quite frightened when she was found. Since arriving to her foster home, we have learned a lot about Maple… 🐾 She has had several litters of puppies 🐾 She was fearful of men and strangers approaching her 🐾 She likes other dogs as long as they respect her space. Maple has been 4 dx tested, vaccinated and microchipped. She is scheduled for her spay in a few weeks. Maple loves kids and we will be testing her with cats soon. She is housebroken and now crate trained. This little lady deserves a home where she can be spoiled and receive the love she so deserves. Once a dog that has a tail between her legs is now a happy girl who wags her tail and wiggles her body for her foster parents. Georgie was found as a stray and taken to a high kill dog pound in West Virginia... Pet Search was contacted and asked if we could rescue him, which we happily did! Georgie is a 7 year old treeing walker coonhound weighing around 55 pounds. He is very lovable and playful and would do well with a family that has older children because of his size. Georgie is housebroken and crate trained but needs to get acclimated to a new schedule. He is fine with larger dogs but has not been cat tested Georgie is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
