Story
Don't let his sad eye brows fool you, this guy is full of excitement and love. His stare can melt the coldest heart, and he's one of the most chill small-dogs we've had stay at our resort. He's the first on the couch for TV time, and will fall asleep right on top of you, if you asked for it or not. He's super friendly and does his best to along with everyone. He's usually super calm, but will occasionally get a spurt of the SUPER ZOOMIES!

Story
Everybody, meet Rosie! Rosie is a 12-year old, Foxhound. Rosie was a failed Fox hounds. She enjoyed spending too much time out in the sun and laying around rather than hunting. She has a sister, Ruby, and are incredibly close with one another. She is a sweet dog and we are just looking for a place that she can live at the rest of her days in peace. Rosie is already spayed, and does well with other dogs, kids, and cats. If you are interested in Rosie, please reach out to John, at (703) 965-1973 or john@jewelltonemusic.com. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Iver is another of our special sweet hound boys! (We have not met any foxhounds that are NOT sweet!) In addition to all the groceries he wants, he enjoys attention, and is familiar with a collar and leash. He is extremely happy to be in a foster home where he is part of a fun “pack” of hounds who have a fenced yard, plenty of exercise time, and sunshine for a relaxing break during his busy day. Ready for some fun? Consider Iver!      PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update, 7/9: Duckie went to a foster home last week, where he is fitting in beautifully with all his hound friends! He appears to be familiar with being in a house, and loves spending time on the porch laying in the sun. He walks beautifully on leash! Because of his loose, easy-going personality, Duckie was suggested to the trainers  at Buckingham Correctional Center as a candidate for their program, teaching inmates to become dog handlers for the Service Dogs of Virginia training program.  Duckie has been there for a couple weeks now, and is a huge hit with the residents and trainees of the program. We see him being a successful graduate of that program in a few months. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here's Plover! She’s been through a rough patch — a little sore when she walked  and in need  of groceries to fatten up. It didn’t take her long to make progress with us, and in a foster home she is doing better now every single day. Tail wags are back, appetite’s improving, and her gentle personality shines through it all. What a sweetheart! It appears she is totally oblivious to cats, and she gets along well with the dogs she meets.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
