🐾 Meet Lotus! 🐾 Lotus is a handsome foxhound mix puppy with a heart as big as his floppy ears! This gentle boy is a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet and affectionate personality truly shines. Lotus is full of curiosity and puppy energy, and he’s ready to find a loving home where he can grow in confidence and thrive. He’s currently available for foster-to-adopt within 30 minutes of our shelter, while we complete his medical care. With patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement, Lotus will do wonderfully. He’s eager to learn and will blossom with continued training and encouragement. In return, you’ll gain a loyal companion who will be deeply devoted to his person. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Hello there! I have a riddle for you. What do you call a dog with a waggy tail, floppy ears, and a big heart? You call him a Johnny! And guess what...that`s my name! I`m a goofy boy who loves a good butt scratch and cuddles as much as I love sniffing and exploring. I`m friendly and am looking for a new home! I can be a little nervous at first, but with a little patience and a lot of love, I`ll come out of my shell in no time to show you how goofy and loving I am! Don`t believe me? Come on down to see for yourself! Just ask for Johnny! I can`t wait to meet you! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult but I do have a history of chronic ear infections and allergies. It`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other!Home Needs: I would do best in a home with teenagers or older. I`ve lived with a cat before and wanted to play with it, but it wasn`t interested in playing with me. I`ve also enjoyed playing with other dogs in my previous home. Weight: ~ 55 lbsAdoption Fee: $100
