Hello there! I have a riddle for you. What do you call a dog with a waggy tail, floppy ears, and a big heart? You call him a Johnny! And guess what...that`s my name! I`m a goofy boy who loves a good butt scratch and cuddles as much as I love sniffing and exploring. I`m friendly and am looking for a new home! I can be a little nervous at first, but with a little patience and a lot of love, I`ll come out of my shell in no time to show you how goofy and loving I am! Don`t believe me? Come on down to see for yourself! Just ask for Johnny! I can`t wait to meet you! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult but I do have a history of chronic ear infections and allergies. It`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other!Home Needs: I would do best in a home with teenagers or older. I`ve lived with a cat before and wanted to play with it, but it wasn`t interested in playing with me. I`ve also enjoyed playing with other dogs in my previous home. Weight: ~ 55 lbsAdoption Fee: $100

Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.
