Hi there, I’m Prudence! I can be a little shy and fearful when meeting new people, and I prefer to take things at my own pace while I learn that I’m safe. Because I can be nervous around handling, I’m looking for a patient and experienced home that will go slow with me and help me build confidence over time. One thing that really helps me come out of my shell is having a canine friend around! While I can be unsure when meeting other dogs at first, I warm up quickly and love to play once I’m comfortable, so I’m looking for a home with another social dog who can show me the ropes. I would also do best in a home without small children, where my boundaries can be respected while I continue to gain confidence. With understanding, consistency, and a little time to warm up, I’m sure to be a loyal and loving companion. So if I sound like a good fit for your home, then come on down to the shelter and let’s meet!Weight: ~50.8 poundsMedical: Prudence appears to be a healthy adult dog and ready for their new home. A routine post-adoption vet check is recommended to start them off right.Restrictions: No small kids, and they must go home to a social dog. Adoption Fee: $200 + tax
