Story
I'm looking for a loving, stable home for my 10-year old French bulldog, Brulee. He's a gentle, affectionate boy who thrives on companionship and being close to his person. He enjoys a calm routine, cozy naps, and quiet time together. As a senior dog, he would do best with someone who can provide their time, patience, consistency, and attentive care. He's not high energy and doesn't like car rides but he does not need constant interaction. He gets along well with other pets, gentle with children and adults, and gives big smiles when being scratched. He does take a daily allergy medication but other than that he is low maintenance. This is a difficult decision and his well-being is my top priority. I'm looking for someone who is truly committed to giving him a safe, loving home for the rest of his life. Found strutting through a Winn-Dixie parking lot like he owned the place, Bean Pie was adopted and sadly recently returned due to his adopter facing multiple upcoming surgeries and sadly couldn’t keep up with this quirky little character. Now he is a sturdy 45lbs of attitude, adventure, and affection all rolled into one compact pup.He’s part lizard hunter, part tree climber, part cuddle bug—and 100% entertaining. Bean Pie loves car rides, gnawing on his favorite bone, and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. He’s got some big feelings about trucks (barking is his preferred method of communication), and while he’s great on adventures, he’s still learning that walks are not a competitive sport—so leash manners are a work in progress!He’s used to having free roam of the house and usually just naps when left alone. At night, he’ll either curl up on his pet bed or find the coziest corner to snooze in. Just keep an eye on the door—this clever boy has been known to make a dash for it if he sees an opening.Bean Pie is dog-selective and would likely prefer to be your one-and-only or matched with a pup his own size. No small animals, and no kiddos, please—he’s got a bit of a bossy streak and can get mouthy when he’s overexcited, so a calm, experienced adult home is where he’ll shine.If you’re looking for a spirited sidekick with a big personality and a lot of love to give, Bean Pie just might be your perfect slice.Requirements: Martingale Collar; Dog Selective; Calm Children 16+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
