**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT AND CAN GIVE THE TIME AND ATTENTION A PUPPY NEEDS, WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!** 1-4-26: "Hello everyone, my name is DOLLY, and my name fits me so well because I am a little doll baby!! I am glad you stopped on my profile, so that you can fall in love with me, as I am getting ready for my new home! I have come to this rescue after my previous owner surrendered me to a local overcrowded county shelter, as they couldn't care for me. Mom saw my situation, and got me right out, so I only had to spend a few days there! I APPEAR at times to look like I MAY have French Bulldog in me, and other times, definitely Shepherd--regardless, I am adorable! I am 4 months old (as of Jan 2026) and am weighing in at 24 pounds right now, but I am a growing girl--shouldn't be too big! I have had my first set of vaccines and had my first monthly heartworm prevention chew! I am doing well on my manners, and my crate is dry, plus I run right to the door to go out! I do great with the other dogs in my foster home, but I don't know how I would be with cats or children. I would think I would be ok with children, as long as you give me guidance and training! I am a quick learner! I do need to be spayed/chipped, and that will be scheduled for in February, but you can come meet me, and pre adopt me OR you can adopt me, and have your personal Vet spay me by an agreed upon date/age. The shelter had told my Mom about a small issue I have with my right eye, they called it a mild eye scratch/ulcer, so Mom has a Vet appointment for that to be looked at on January 9th. Please ask to meet me, as I would love to grow up with you and your family!!" Story
Loui needs a new owner a single person with NO kids. Hopefully someone with another dog. Loui is loyal to one person only. Has bitten a few people. Only trusts one person. Need to make sure his new owner is aware of all these specific circumstances. Please do not apply if you have a spouse or children whom live at home. Loui is 2 years old. I have had him for one year. He's been to training and listens very well (especially with treats/food) and loves to be on your lap at all times. Loves to give kisses and get rides in the car. Has some issues with strangers and take a submissive pee for new people. Hoping this behavior will be something he grows out of. He has bitten a number of people including the vet. His behavior issues have become much better with the year we have spent together but he does not get along with my teenage son. Please let me know if you able to care for Loui and know the upkeep on type of dogs is expensive. He's medicated on three types of medication.
