Meet the pug mix puppies! These sweet pups are the babies of mama Darlene, a pug who was found pregnant as a stray. While we don’t know who dad is or exactly what mix these puppies may be, we do know one very important thing: they hit the jackpot with their mom. Darlene has an incredible temperament. She is as sweet, gentle, and good-natured as can be. She has been lovingly raising her babies for the past 5 weeks in a foster home, where they’ve been exposed to other animals and children, helping them get a great start on socialization. Based on mom’s size and what we’re seeing so far, we believe the puppies will be small to medium size full grown. They are playful, curious, and thriving under Darlene’s care. These puppies will make wonderful additions to families or individuals who are ready to take on the lifelong responsibility of raising, training, and loving a dog. We are seeking adopters who are committed to providing a safe, stable, and loving home. The puppies will be ready to go into homes the weekend of February 13th once they are fully weaned and old enough to leave mom. If you’re ready to welcome one of these special pups into your family, they’re ready to meet you! These puppies would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep! Story
Meet Garth! Garth is a resilient English Bulldog with a heart as big as his jowls. Garth was found in rough shape, suffering from a severe case of demodex mange, painfully infected ears and paws, and clear signs of long-term, untreated skin disease. Despite everything he’s been through, Garth has shown incredible strength and sweetness. Under the care of our dedicated veterinary team, his comfort has improved, his skin is healing, and his true personality is beginning to shine through. This boy is feeling SO much better.  Garth’s journey isn’t a short one. He will need continued veterinary care, including regular checkups, medications, and a committed routine to keep him comfortable and healthy. He will likely require lifelong managment of his skin and ears. Because of this, Garth is looking for a special adopter, someone patient, compassionate, and prepared to partner with their vet to give him the quality of life he deserves. We will continue to care for him, which includes his neuter in the next few weeks and are commited to his path of wellness but feel he would thrive even more with the right human and home. Garth is a super sweet boy who adores all his people and loves meeting new ones. He has done great meeting other dogs and would do well living with a female dog who doesn't mind a snorty friend. Garth enjoys easy strolls where he can get his sniffs in, plays with toys and of course gets lots of naps in. Because he can sometimes be a typical pushy bulldog we don't feel he would pair well with young kids in a home. Cats are an unknown. Meet Darlene! Darlene is a sweet, lovable pug who came to us as a pregnant stray and has since proven what an incredible mama she is. She has been busy raising her 10 puppies, giving them the best possible start in life, and will soon be ready to focus on what she deserves most, a forever family of her own. For her first 5 weeks in our care, Darlene lived in a loving foster home alongside dogs, cats and children, and she handled it all like a champ. She has a wonderful temperament and a silly, affectionate nature that makes her a joy to be around. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Darlene will be gaining a truly special companion.
