Story
Fannie 4 years, spayed female, 18 lbs Pug LIKES: This sassy girl loves everyone and is great with kids! She is good with cats and other dogs and she does well on car rides too. She wants to be where you are, and loves to cuddle under a blanket. DISLIKES: She is pretty easy going but in true pug fashion she needs picked up and put outside to go potty in inclement weather. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Extremely sweet, loving and bubbly POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Sometimes needs brought outside due to bad weather but is potty trained CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She does ok, just will let you know she’s not happy EXTRAS/MISC.: She’s described by everyone who meets her as "perfect." Pugs require some specific care for their skin and health. Her family needs to know about the risk of overheating in Pugs and have a home with air conditioning and plan to help keep her cool during the summer months. To further inquire about FANNIE, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how FANNIE will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for FANNIE, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ ##2731013##

Story
Meet Garth! Garth is a resilient English Bulldog with a heart as big as his jowls. Garth was found in rough shape, suffering from a severe case of demodex mange, painfully infected ears and paws, and clear signs of long-term, untreated skin disease. Despite everything he’s been through, Garth has shown incredible strength and sweetness. Under the care of our dedicated veterinary team, his comfort has improved, his skin is healing, and his true personality is beginning to shine through. This boy is feeling SO much better.  Garth’s journey isn’t a short one. He will need continued veterinary care, including regular checkups, medications, and a committed routine to keep him comfortable and healthy. He will likely require lifelong managment of his skin. Because of this, Garth is looking for a special adopter, someone patient, compassionate, and prepared to partner with their vet to give him the quality of life he deserves. We will continue to care for him and are commited to his path of wellness but feel he would thrive even more with the right human and home. Garth is a super sweet boy who adores all his people and loves meeting new ones. He has done great meeting other dogs, going on walks and seems to prefer the ladies but can be a typical bossy bulldog when it comes to sharing a space. He could live with a female dog with an owner who could provide separation in the beginning using gates while he adjusted and bonded with a new friend. Garth would also be just fine as the king of his castle. Garth enjoys easy strolls where he can get his sniffs in, plays with toys and of course gets lots of naps in. Because he can sometimes be a typical pushy bulldog we don't feel he would pair well with young kids in a home, teens are just fine! Cats are unknown. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Garth's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Garth would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : female dogs  Kiddos : 13+    ##2637066##
