Story
Lottie Pop is a brindle French Bulldog. She is approximately 3 years old and in basically good health. Lottie is, however, paralyzed fromher waist down. This injury has caused her to be incontinent. Both urinary and fecal. She wears diapers full time. Being a paraplegic has not slowed this girl down. She can move with the best of us. In her wheelchair or scooting on her bum, Lottie Popgets around just fine! She mastered the chair in no time. Smart girl. Lottie is a very gentle girl. She doesn’t mind being messed with. Bathing, nail trims or ear cleaning-- no problem. She used to squirmduring diaper change. Now she holds still so her foster mom can get the job done. She also has quite the wardrobe. Lottie dresses to thenines! Lottie Pop lives with 6 dogs and 1 cat. She does just fine with all of them. With the help of a simple routine, Lottie can be just like all otherdogs. She is spayed and heartworm negative and on prevention. Questions? Call her foster mom, connie, at 704-472-8010. Story
🐾 Adult Male French Bulldog – Trained – Needs Experienced Home We are looking to rehome our adult male French Bulldog, due to a change in our family’s needs. This decision was made carefully and with his best interest at heart. About: 1. Adult male French Bulldog 2. Neutered 3. Microchipped 4. Up to date on vaccinations 5. Healthy, with double cherry eye surgery successfully corrected 6. Completed a professional board-and-train program 7. Knows basic obedience and does well with structure and routine Personality: He is affectionate, playful, and people-oriented. He enjoys engagement and interaction and thrives with clear expectations and consistent leadership. He is energetic and loves being involved with his people. He is well socialized with other dogs and loves to play with them. He’s good around children, but I would recommend older kids as he doesn’t know the difference between his toys and children’s toys.

Location: Knoxville, TNLeia (Heaven)Frenchie2-3 years oldSpayed, vetted, microchippedGood with dogs: MALE dogs only but no dogs would be betterGood with kids: Yes but must be dog savvy and energetic (over 8 )Housetrained: yesCrate trained: YesMeet Our Spunky Girl, LeiaThis precious girl is full of personality and she’s looking for a home that understands her needs. She is a high-maintenance pup, but she gives back tenfold in affection. She absolutely loves to snuggle and be close to her people. If you’re someone who enjoys bonding deeply with a dog and doesn’t mind a little extra care, she will steal your heart. She has an inverted tail that requires daily attention (gentle cleaning and wiping), so her ideal family is comfortable with hands-on care and keeping her clean. She is crate trained and house trained, and she does great with washable pee pads (disposable ones don’t stand a chance!)This girl loves the outdoors—running fast, zooming around, and stretching her athletic legs brings her so much joy. (Even in the cold weather)She’s very smart and agile, so if she’s motivated, gates are more of a fun challenge than a barrier. Her curiosity always gets the best of her, so a secure space and supervision are important.Once she’s had a chance to run and explore, she happily settles in for long naps and snuggles, making her a wonderful balance of fun and relaxation. She is a serious chewer, so anything tempting should be put away. Bark Box super chewer toys are her favorite. She’s currently on a venison kibble and adores treats like raw carrots, fresh or frozen strawberries, and freeze dried bananas. She is wonderful with kids. Being the only female dog in the home is preferred. She tends to be jealous with other females and may react aggressively. She currently lives with a male dog and enjoys playful sparring—she never lets him win!Car rides are not her favorite, and she will try to jump out if a window is open, so she needs to be safely secured if travel is unavoidable.Best fit:An experienced home that can provide structure, supervision, and lots of love. She would thrive with kids that match her energy level, and a family who appreciates a strong-willed, affectionate dog and is committed to her care needs.**we do not allow electric fences/halo collars, tethers/runners or doggy doors**   ##2464585##

Story
Meet Otie! 🐶🎾 Otie is a quirky little guy with a big personality packed into his 22-pound frame! Around 6 years old, this medium-sized boy is settling into foster life and showing off more of his funny, determined spirit every day. He’s a huge fan of car rides and will happily be your copilot on any adventure. He LOVES tennis balls and squeaky toys—basically anything he can proudly carry around like a prize. He hasn’t quite mastered “drop it” (we’re still deciding if it’s playfulness or pure stubbornness 😅), and with no tail to wag, his expressive personality comes out in hilarious vocalizations instead. But here’s the real deal with Otie: he’s a tough little character with some special care needs. He struggles with allergies that affect his ears and skin. Right now he’s on steroids, antibiotics, and ear cream, and the vet has recommended he will likely need monthly medication moving forward to keep things under control. Any adopter should be prepared for ongoing management of his allergies and possible ear flare-ups. Personality-wise, Otie is full of opinions and determination. He has a high prey drive (he proved this with chickens, so no small animals 🐔🚫), and he’s not suitable for a home with young kids. His toy possessiveness is real—if Otie wants it, he will get it—and sharing is not on his list of skills. With other dogs, he can coexist in the right match, but slow introductions and a calm, tolerant dog are key. He and his foster sibling are doing fine now, but it took patience and boundaries to get there. Otie is stubborn, persistent, and absolutely full of life. He’s not for everyone—but in the right home, one that understands his quirks, is willing to manage his allergy/ear care, and gives him structure, he will be an incredibly loyal, funny, and entertaining companion. ❤️

Story
Meet Jewel!   Jewel is a ~7 year old Frenchton who came to us after the owner couldn’t afford her medical care. Her foster thinks she may have been used as a breeder and then neglected, as she arrived to us underweight with some serious alopecia and a hematoma.   Jewel hasn’t let any of this stop her, however, as she has a new lease on life! Jewel is learning that it’s okay to play and run around and spends much of her days pawing at her foster for some attention. She thinks she wants to play with other dogs, but hasn’t fully committed quite yet. Although as it relates to humans, she can’t control her spins when it’s time to eat or when the leash comes out. Jewel is so friendly that, on multiple occasions, her vet has asked if she can come earlier than her appointment to just be around all the staff (this is 100% true) She’s not housebroken yet, but we’re working on it. She is praise and food motivated so I don’t think it should be too heavy of a lift. But if you adopt Jewel you should expect a lifetime of snorts, hilarious faces, cuddletime, and love. ##2631327##

Story
*** Available after February 10 ***What makes me so special is that I am a young girl who has a very refined soul. I think I'm Royalty and can just stand there looking pretty and get treats handed to me. Other times I need a human's lap to nap and restore my energy. I seem aloof at times but I'm Marrin Rose and that is your typical Frenchie! They all say that I'm a very sweet smart baby who looks for cuddles and sometimes just wants to sleep on her majestic bed. Ruling a house is tiring business after all!   I have a very sweet personality. A queen knows everyone upon meeting them and I am no different. If someone walks in my door I have to show my love for their future devotion to me. I am very mannerly as well. No jumping on the couch or chair for me. I prefer to get picked up for my chair entrance. In this house where I'm at there is a 225lb Great Dane and several 11lb Bostons. I play with them all! The elderly Boston has fallen in love with me.  These subjects and I  played many tug a war games. It was very new to me but I learned the doggie door system as well and the traditional follow my human subjects wherever they go. Humans need lots of direction to find where to go. Who knew?   So I am the perfect age of 20 months old. That is the best age to Rule a house forever. I am super smart and learn quickly.  My weight? Oh how rude! But if you must know I'm 27lbs.  I am Microchipped, vaccinated and spayed The heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention has all been administered.  A Queen such as myself uses the yard for bathroom purposes. I'm totally housebroken.  I prefer to sleep in a soft doggie bed. I don't mind a crate pallace at all. I like to nap in my pallace during the day sometimes. Queenly doggie beds are very much appreciated.  Leash trained? Well I like to go for a stroll through the gardens and yards. I can't help it if you don't know the exact way we're supposed to be going at times. I walk like a proper lady when you go the right way! I like kids, (There we 9 kids at this castle for Christmas) I will ignore cats, (definitely lower class than Me), I will ask for devotion from everyone at the family get togethers, (there was 30 subjects at Christmas) there were a couple of family dogs at this gathering and we got on famously.  I've been socializing quite a bit here. The nursing home is a gold mine! Every single person there wanted to admire me, give me affection, and bestow compliments. I love meeting new people and going to new places. When lifting or transporting me I can stiffin up (frenchie thing) and then I will melt into my human. I have a lift of sorts with my humans recliner. I put my feet up and then she has the chair footrest elevate me onto the throne. Quite unique because everyone sees me about to ascend to my throne chair! A great display of my position in the castle! I love and will accept treats but I do not like blueberries. Yuck. They are absolute garbage!  Now for the toys... I will play with ....everything! I love toys that make noise like crinkle toys, the stuffie's are amazing to shake, not watching? I will take your blanket or kitchen towel and run!  The Lady of the house can tell you that I got along with everyone in my time ruling here. We went many places and I was a perfect Queen. One day I went to the Nursing home for pet therapy, one day to a school for kids to read to me, one evening we went to a Veterinarian office to provide love and comfort to a little girl who lost her hamster, I went to houses during the Holidays for visits, I hosted many people here at the Castle for Holiday get togethers, and I was a delight with everyone. My current Castle has a gun range near it. I heard many loud booms and fireworks for New Year's and it didn't make me scared. I have been going through training to be a more confident Queen.  A few times the lady of the house left all of us here alone. During the night she tucked me in and then she went to sleep in her chambers. The baby monitor camera showed -  I went to sleep. No barking, no nervous behavior, and no arguing with my new friends. I was a Dream for the Lady of the house!  I am a Frenchie of course I can be aloof. I am a Frenchie of course I want attention. I am a Frenchie of course I'm beautiful. I am a Frenchie of course I love to go on car rides. Allows me to see my kingdom.    My only dislike was fresh blueberries. They are garbage!   The Lady of the house is available to answer any questions you may have about me.
