Story
Meet Moko Moko is a 5 month old German Pinscher with classic high energy, high intelligence, and a big heart. He’s affectionate and loves being close to his people, but he’s not a couch potato. He needs an adopter who genuinely enjoys an active lifestyle and can give him daily exercise plus mental stimulation. Moko will thrive with a home that wants to train. He’s at the perfect age to build strong habits with consistent structure, positive reinforcement, and a routine. He does best when he has “a job” such as basic obedience, leash skills, sniff games, puzzle toys, and short training sessions throughout the day. Moko is an indoor dog and I’m looking for a home that keeps him included in daily life. Access to other friendly dogs is a big plus, either a resident dog who enjoys play or consistent, safe social time with known dogs. Best fit Active person or family who can commit to exercise and training Someone who wants an affectionate companion

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Leeju👋 She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. She is calm even when kids pet her. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides. Her foster tries to walk her for potty before jumping into the car. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Barks/Howls: A little bit towards continued noise from outside the house. • Appetite/Food Allergies: She likes any sort of food! / No food allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: She loves being petted on her face while snuggling up to your side! / She feels cold easily due to her short coat. • Health: Had surgery on both knees in 2021 and recovered fully. Now maintaining her weight is important. Otherwise, she’s healthy! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Please contact Mamie Hall (mamie.hall@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet. She's the cherry on top! CHERRY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Cherry and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (12/28) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!     Name: Cherry         Best Guess for Breed:  Min pin mix  Best Guess for Age: 6 years as of October 2024       SEX: Female   Approximate Weight: 12 lbs   Gets Along With:   Large dogs! She hasn't lived with cats that we know of, but she has tried to chase outdoor cats. She hasn't lived with kids as far as we are aware. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC foster home   About Cherry: This sweetie with the incredible ears was abandoned and ended up in a shelter in Texas. She immediately closed that chapter with a bang and eagerly jumped into her next one - a shelter foster home in Texas. Her Texas foster described her as energetic, always liking to move around -  hey she may be 6 or so but small dogs' batteries last a LONG time and she's ready to go! She loves walks, loves car rides. She lived with a 80-pound poodle in that foster home and did well with him. She knows the command 'come' and when called, will come right away.   And she was just so loving, so happy to be with her Texas foster. Her foster said she's the type who does well with a lot of attention, a lot of time with her humans.  What she wants most of all is to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, you get a happy, loving, active little girl eager to trot by your side and then curl up against your lap. What do you say? Is Cherry the one for your home and your heart? What My DC Area Foster Says About Me:  Cherry loves walks - really LOVES walks and sniffing. But she can chill too - she's curled up on a dog bed at my feet as I type this. She's confident in the home - she walked in like she'd been here all her life. And she utterly loves being next to me, getting pets.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and transport from the shelter.
