Story
Zara Hope is a tiny little bundle of joy, cuddles, comedy, and puppy sparkle wrapped up in the softest black-and-tan coat.   Zara Hope is a 10-week-old, female, Pinscher and Husky mix, probably with a little something else mixed in to keep her at a nice medium size. She currently weighs 8 pounds and is estimated to be around 35 to 40 pounds as an adult. She has short, very soft dark black fur with beautiful light tan Pinscher markings on her head, chest, and legs. She also has one brown eye and one very light blue eye that gets attention everywhere she goes. Her ears are currently adorable little lop ears, but they are trying very hard to stand up and will likely be pricked up when she is grown.   Zara has an excellent temperament and is just an incredibly happy little puppy. She is extremely friendly, outgoing, upbeat, cuddly, and full of life. She loves people, loves attention, and absolutely loves being picked up and carried around. Her favorite place in the world is in your lap, curled up next to you, or sleeping under the covers like a tiny heated blanket. She is slightly more interested in people than other dogs, but she still has a blast running, wrestling, and playing when she has dog friends around.   She is being fostered with a 72-pound, female, German Shepherd Dog who acts as her nanny, and Zara loves playing with her. She enjoys other dogs, large and small, and would do great in a home with another playful dog friend. She would also be perfectly happy as an only dog as long as she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles from her people. She loves adults and kids and is extremely friendly with people she meets. Her behavior toward cats and her prey drive are currently unknown.   For a 10-week-old puppy, Zara is doing wonderfully with her manners and training. She does well in her crate, is very quiet in it, and runs right in when it is time to eat her meals. She is working on potty training and already understands that outside is where she should go. When the door opens, she runs outside to potty. She may still have an accident or two inside each day, but they are small and easy to clean up. She listens well, comes running when called, and is eager to please. She is also very food motivated, which should make training much easier.   Zara is fairly quiet overall. She mostly barks when she is playing, wants attention, or is separated from her person. Like most puppies her age, she is in the normal 10-week-old puppy biting stage, but she should grow out of that with time, patience, and redirection. She loves stuffed animals, rope toys for tug-of-war, sticks, leaves, and, every now and then, she may try to steal a sock or shoe just to keep life interesting.   She is also a great car rider. On long rides, she will lay down and sleep, and she does not get carsick. At home, she is happy to curl up at your feet and sleep while you work at the computer, or settle into your lap while you watch TV. At night, she loves to sleep close to her person, preferably under the covers. She may still need a trip or two outside in the middle of the night, but she is learning to calm down when the lights go off.   Zara is healthy, at an ideal weight, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and current on heart worm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention. She will need to be spayed when she is old enough. When she was rescued, she had a bad skin infection, but the infection is gone now and her skin is healing beautifully. Her fur is getting thicker, and she has no other health concerns.   Zara Hope will do best in a home where she gets lots of attention, love, playtime, and chances to burn off her happy puppy energy. She loves going outside, but she also loves being inside with her people. She is the kind of puppy who wants to be with you all the time, including at night, and she will reward that closeness with endless affection. She is very well mannered for her age and does not need much work beyond normal puppy training and guidance. Whether she joins a home with another dog or becomes someone’s one-and-only best friend, Zara is ready to bring joy, laughter, snuggles, and hope to a very lucky family. Story
🐾 Meet your calm, cuddly, sun‑loving sidekick (10‑year‑old German Pinscher). If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s happiest right by your side, Cajun is your guy. He has a calm, affectionate personality and a big heart for people and pups alike. He’s the kind of dog who will soak up sunshine, listen like he understands every word, and then curl up on the couch after a nice walk like a true professional snuggler. Cajun is very smart…and sometimes acts like he’s smarter than you. 😉 💛 He's great with other dogs, patient and gentle even with puppies; people-friendly, and enjoys meeting new, experienced dog people; loves when you talk to him (yes, he’s that kind of best friend); enjoys walks + errands, but can also be a happy couch potato for movie nights. Cajun recently had his right eye removed due to uveitis, but it doesn’t impact his quality of life. He’s still happy & enjoying life, just with a little extra character. And he's fully insured!

Story
Primrose (Rosie) 5 year old blue/fawn Min Pin 6.5 lbs. Docked tail, natural ears Fully vetted Owner surrender Available in the metro Atlanta area Rosie is a tiny bundle of energy who has 2 speeds... Asleep or bouncing everywhere. She is crate trained. She is working on house training. Due to her tiny size, she needs to go out every 1-2 hours. I was told she used pee pads to an extent in her prior home, but I have not tested that as I prefer not using them. She will do anything for food, so working with her is quite easy. She loves meeting new people and is completely loyal to her people. She constantly wants to be held or play. She is dog selective and gets along with dogs who are of similar size and not in her face. If you have other small dogs, we would definitely recommend bringing them to meet her. Because of the dog selectiveness, she would also thrive as an only dog where she could get all the attention. No kids under the age of 10 due to her size. We prefer for Rosie to have a secure fenced yard because that is all she has known her entire life. She does not want to do her business on leash. If interested in adopting Rosie, please complete our adoption application at: http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Note: All pets in the home must have a verifiable vet reference and must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.

Story
Local adoption only! Chiquita 5.5 year old chocolate Min Pin (DOB 9/30/2020) 11 lbs. Fully vetted Chiquita is a very shy dog who received little socialization due to when she was born. Because of her hesitance with strangers, an adopter must be willing to repeatedly come to her foster home to meet her prior to an adoption. Once she decides to trust someone, she does so completely and will be that person's shadow. Chiquita requires a secure fenced yard. She does not like to be leashed and can escape any harness. A low traffic environment in an adult only home is ideal where she doesn't have to meet strangers often or travel. Chiquita loves other small dogs though was never taught appropriate play behaviors. Some dogs don't care for her exuberance in that her favorite thing is to run and pounce. She is crate trained but would gladly sleep with her person. She has done well with house training when kept on a schedule. Once Chiquita is comfortable with someone, her personality shines. She acts like any other dog, but it takes time and patience to get her to that point. She is very energetic and would love another playful friend. A confident dog would most likely help her adjust faster as well. We do not want her bounced around because someone is unfamiliar with shy/fearful dog behavior so are trying to be as transparent as possible. She would love more than anything for her new person to be a homebody, though if travel or an emergency does come up, she's more than welcome to stay with her foster even after the adoption is finalized. Apply to adopt at: http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Note: MPMR requires all applicants to have their dogs current on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention unless there is verifiable medical reason why this cannot be done.
