Story
    Henna, an 8 year old, 34 pound, Terrier Mix is a delight. She has great positive energy, but is also a cuddle who know how to chill.   She’s a senior dog, who doesn’t realize she’s a senior. She loves playing catch and going on walks and just following her humans around. Her crooked tail is always wagging.   She’s great going in her kennel (with a treat, of course) at bedtime and when alone in our house. She loves being around people and her ideal family would have plenty of time to spend with her going on walks, playing catch, and snuggling on the couch. She’d be fine with another pet or as a solo dog. 10lb 4 yr old crate trained Toy Manchester Terrier- Nico is a sweet loving boy. He lives with 2 older large breed dogs. He is too small to play with either of my larger breed dogs. I am hoping to improve his life and find him a home with a smaller friendly dog that he can bond and play with or someone that has more time to give him. He played chasing the plastic bag on a swift paws lure course for three years until it broke. Now he exercises outside in a separate fenced area with the 2 large breed dogs. He is a barker with incredible hearing and alertness. He loves to sleep under the blankets and snuggle in your lap. He is smart and has good recall. Maintenance: He had a dental in September and requires daily brushing to prevent plaque build-up.

Primrose (Rosie) 5 year old blue/fawn Min Pin 5.6 lbs. Docked tail, natural ears Fully vetted Owner surrender Available in the metro Atlanta area Rosie is a tiny bundle of energy who has 2 speeds... Asleep or bouncing everywhere. She is crate trained. She is working on house training. Due to her tiny size, she needs to go out every 1-2 hours. I was told she used pee pads to an extent in her prior home, but I have not tested that as I prefer not using them. She will do anything for food, so working with her is quite easy. She loves meeting new people and is completely loyal to her people. She constantly wants to be held or play. She is dog selective and gets along with calm dogs who are of similar size and not in her face. If you have other small dogs, we would definitely recommend bringing them to meet her. Because of the dog selectiveness, she would also thrive as an only dog where she could get all the attention. No kids under the age of 10 due to her size. We prefer for Rosie to have a secure fenced yard because that is all she has known her entire life. She does not want to do her business on leash. Fully vetted -- Mmust be willing to repeatedly come to her foster home to meet her. -- Woman only home. -- Secure fenced yard required without exception. -- Low traffic environment is best where she doesn't have to meet strangers often or travel. -- Does well with small dogs her size, but other pup friends should match her playful energy level. -- Crate trained but would gladly sleep with her person -- House trained on a schedule -- No children. -- No cats. -- No large dogs. -- No men. They terrify her. -- No apartments or condos. -- Don't expect her to be okay with leash walks or dog parks because she is too nervous. -- Has severe motion sickness even with short rides. Can last a few days. Once Chiquita is comfortable with someone, her personality shines. She acts like any other dog, but it takes time and patience to get her to that point. She is very energetic and would love another playful friend. A confident dog would most likely help her adjust faster as well. We do not want her bounced around because someone is unfamiliar with fearful dog behavior so are trying to be as transparent as possible. She would love more than anything for her new person to be a homebody, though if travel or an emergency does come up, she's more than welcome to stay with her foster even after the adoption is finalized.
