Story
Starr is a medium-sized beauty who has just joined our rescue, and we’re already excited to learn more about her. We think Starr may have a good amount of Doberman Pinscher in her breeding, a mix often known for loyalty, intelligence, and a strong bond with their people. Because Starr is new to us, we’re still getting to know her personality, preferences, and all the special things that make her who she is. What we do know is that she has a lovely presence and is ready for a fresh start with a new forever family. To set up a no-obligation “meet and greet” with Starr, please visit https://www.wimberleywagrescue.org/available-dogs/ and fill out an application.

Story
Harley's story started tragically, but now he's ready for his happily ever after. Harley was adopted from a local shelter, but his adopters left the garage open and he slipped out on his very first day there. Instead of searching for him, they didn't notify anyone and left him to survive on the streets. But after months scared and alone on his own, our rescue was able to bring him into a loving foster home! Now, sweet Harley is ALL about enjoying the creature comforts of indoor life. He goes outside to potty but prefers observing the world from his favorite couch perch. He loves to cuddle and snuggle, and his foster mom calls him an absolute sweetheart! He has SO much love and joy to give, and he needs a patient, kind adopter who will show him love and support while he learns to trust his new family. It's going to take him a minute, but he'll be an amazing family member! Harley's ideal home will have a fenced-in yard and lots of windows for observing the big wide world. He will do best in a home, rather than an apartment, because he's very vocal when he's excited (mom's home! squirrel! treats!). Harley coexists well with his foster family's resident dog. He is submissive and mostly disinterested, and would do well with another independent dog friend or being your one and only furry companion. If you are a kind, loving, and patient soul who can give Harley the time he needs to realize you're the BFF he's been looking for, he would love to meet you ... and make sure your couch meets his impeccable cuddling standards.

Story
Miss Marceline is as elegant as her name! With her soft reddish brown coat and eyes, she's a quiet stunner that's sure to turn heads. She's also a certified sweetie-pie who loves to receive gentle pets from humans. Marceline gets along really well with her doggie foster siblings, and even romps with the big dogs! Plus, she's a water dog who loves to romp and splash around in the hose! Marceline especially adores bubbles and is happiest popping them in her backyard! So if you're looking for a companion to take to the lake, pool, or beach for some summer fun, Marcie is the girl for you! With a little time, Marceline quickly blossoms into a confident, loving sweetheart! She would be happiest with an active family who offers her plenty of exercise, or at least has a large fenced in back yard and maybe another dog for her to play with. But Marceline is more than just playful, she's also a member of our Lonely Hearts Club. This means that her adoption fee has already been paid. So if you have fallen in love with beautiful Marceline, you can take her home for free!  NEXT STEPS: Fill out our easy adoption form by copying and pasting this link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FBF-A-115357 Or, if you prefer, visit our website at footbridgefoundation.org, and follow the prompts.

Story
Bane is a 7-month-old Min Pin mix weighing about 28 pounds, and he’s as sweet as they come! This little guy loves everyone he meets and has the perfect mix of puppy playfulness and gentle affection. He’s potty and crate trained, good with both big and little dogs, and is already showing how smart and well-mannered he’ll be as he grows. Bane enjoys cuddling up close after a good romp outside, happily soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He does get a little car sick, so short rides and time to adjust will help him out. Whether he’s chasing toys or snuggling on the couch, Bane’s kind spirit and lovable personality make him the perfect companion for a lucky family ready to give him a forever home. Bane is being fostered in a home in New Braunfels, TX but can be transported to the NE and PNW after adoption. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Lady is a 2-year-old possible Mini Pinscher mix who has made an incredible transformation since leaving the shelter. When I first picked her up, she was scared of everything and unsure of the world around her. It was clear she may never have had the chance to just be a carefree dog. With time, patience, and love, Lady has truly blossomed into a happy, confident girl who is finally enjoying the good life she always deserved. Lady does well with other dogs and cats. She would love for the cats to play with her, but since mine aren’t interested, she has learned to coexist respectfully. If a cat runs, she may give chase, but she has never shown any aggression or caused harm. She absolutely loves playing with my 50-pound male dog, Titan, and keeps up with him like a champ, playing just as hard despite her smaller size. She has learned how to enjoy walks and gets very excited when the leash comes out. Car rides are one of her favorite things—she happily jumps into my SUV, climbs over to the passenger seat, and sits contently for the entire ride. Lady goes to work with me almost every day and is wonderful there. She remains calm and quiet, spending her time napping or gazing out the window. While Lady can hold her own with a playful, energetic dog, she also has a calm and gentle side. She warms up quickly to women and just needs a little extra time and patience with men. She is crate trained and will even choose to nap in her crate on her own. When I toss in a treat, she knows exactly what to do and walks right in. Lady is a sweet, affectionate soul who has come so far and is so deserving of a loving, stable home. She is ready to continue her journey with a family who will cherish her and show her just how wonderful life can be. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
