Story
Disco Baby is an adorable young Miniature Pinscher, about a year old, with a curious, independent spirit and a gentle, affectionate side. He may be a little nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and enjoys attention, pets, and being close to his people. He appears to be potty trained, is easy to handle, and even with his injury, he gets around with a cute little hop that shows his resilient personality. Right now, Disco Baby is recovering from a right hip injury and will need a calm, quiet home where he can stick to strict activity restriction for the next 6–8 weeks—no running, jumping, or rough play while he heals. He’s on medications to keep him comfortable and help with anxiety, and these will be provided along with veterinary support during his recovery. A medical foster is needed to give him a safe space, help administer his meds, and keep him comfortable and confined so his hip can heal properly. With patience and proper care, his prognosis is fair to good, and he has a strong chance of returning to a happy, active life—though he may need additional follow-up care for his hip down the road. Disco Baby didn’t ask for this setback, but with a loving foster home, he can heal, feel safe, and finally get the chance he deserves—could you be the one to help him on his way?

Story
Macaroni is a quiet little observer who prefers cozy corners, gentle routines, and the comfort of a calm home. Macaroni is a soft-hearted, thoughtful boy who enjoys the quiet side of life. This gentle soul loves having a cozy spot to relax while he takes in the world around him — his favorite places are in bedroom closets, crates with blankets, or corners with beds where he can feel safe and watch the world from a distance. Macaroni is still learning that new people can be trusted, so he appreciates a home that will move at his pace and give him space to settle in. While he’s not quite ready for hands-on affection yet, he’s already making progress and gaining confidence every day. One thing that helps Macaroni feel more comfortable is the presence of other dogs. He does well with calm canine friends and would likely enjoy having a steady dog companion to help show him the ropes and remind him that life can be pretty great. He enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world, usually taking things at his own relaxed pace. A quiet neighborhood and predictable routine will help him feel his best. On walks, he is your shadow, sticking close to his new best friend for confidence. When his person is away, Macaroni settles nicely in his crate and is potty trained, so no worries about leaving him for a while. Macaroni may not be the type of dog who rushes up for attention right away — but for someone who understands shy dogs, the journey of watching him grow and gain confidence will be incredibly special. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, Macaroni has all the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal companion.
