Story
Captain is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find his new family soon! To help, his adoption fee has been fully sponsored by generous donors. Captain also receives a free 6 week class/private consult here at the Edmonton Humane Society with his adoption!EHS volunteer comment: "I have loved Captain from our first walk together. He is an active boy who enjoys long leisurely walks and adventure but mostly just being by your side. Once you are in his circle of trust he is all yours. He knows sit and shake-a-paw. He's a playful boy, and he enjoys fetch. He loves attention and companionship from his human friends. Pets, head scratches, food and treats will win him over. His house training is exceptional!"Captain is a handsome fella with enough charm to sail the seven seas (or at least your living room). He's friendly, loyal, and always ready for some cuddles. His foster mom says he's wonderfully well-behaved, housetrained, and very calm in the home, almost like an old soul in a dog's body. He adores walks, and once he's had his outing, he settles right in for a peaceful snooze. This sweet boy has plenty of endearing quirks: he happily plays with squeaky toys before and after walks and he will ask for pets by placing a paw on you and rolling over to show his belly. He's relaxed in the care and his favourite treat is beef liver.Captain is ready to find a place to call home, come meet him and see if he's the one for you!https://youtu.be/nnAAGyOrPashttps://youtu.be/3KwpAy3qwDEhttps://youtu.be/C0c458efceIhttps://youtu.be/8LDF2UjzpQg Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 32.5 Age: 2yrs 3mths 1wks

Story
Jax would love to find his new family soon! To help, his adoption fee has been partially sponsored by generous donors!Introducing Jax-a big ol' German Shepherd with the energy of a gentle giant and the social skills of a man who nods politely at neighbors but sprints back inside before small talk happens. At first, Jax is a little shy with new people. But give him just a smidge of time and suddenly you've unlocked Warm, Goofy, Loyal Mode™. That's when you get the soft eyes, the gentle lean-ins, and the "oh wow he's actually a huge teddy bear" moments. If you want a big shepherd who's equal parts adorable, loyal, and slightly socially awkward, Jax is ready to warm up to you-fast. Come meet him and let him show you how sweet a shy guy can be. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 38.2 Age: 3yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Django we got at the Edmonton Humane Society, he is very sweet and has amazing potential but we are unable to give him the active lifestyle that he deserves. He does need behavioral training that he does get aggressive over his food (especially dogs if close), we have kept the other dog in a different spot while feeding and there has been no issues. He also does seem to have some sort of allergy (not sure if environmental or food) but we are unable to figure out as we will be having a 2nd child in April and do not have the time or funds to look deep into it. He is sweet and carrying and does give sweet kisses but also has puppy tendencies and nibbles.
