Story
A little bit about Sadie: - kids unknown - no cats or small animals in home - no dogs in homeSweet Sadie is the sort of dog that you can`t resist! With her adorable face and penchant for doggy kisses, she has the makings of a friendly companion! Just be sure that you`re ready to help teach Sadie some proper doggy manners as she can get over-excited and try to jump when meeting new people.Sadie is also a very active dog that would thrive in a home that is just as busy and energetic as she is. Be sure that you`re prepared to offer her all of the walks, training, and enrichment she needs to stay at her happiest and healthiest! Speaking of her new family, Sadie should be the only pet in home as she does not get along well with other animals. But you won`t go without as she`ll be sure to give you all of the cuddles and affection you would ever need! Can you already imagine the life you could have with Sadie by your side? If so, or if you want to learn more, than come meet Sadie today. She can`t wait to say hi!

Story
Django we got at the Edmonton Humane Society, he is very sweet and has amazing potential but we are unable to give him the active lifestyle that he deserves. He does need behavioral training that he does get aggressive over his food (especially dogs if close), we have kept the other dog in a different spot while feeding and there has been no issues. He also does seem to have some sort of allergy (not sure if environmental or food) but we are unable to figure out as we will be having a 2nd child in April and do not have the time or funds to look deep into it. He is sweet and carrying and does give sweet kisses but also has puppy tendencies and nibbles.

Story
Location: Medicine Hat Area// Age: 1 Year, 8 months// Sex: Spayed Female// Energy Level: Medium// Dogs: Yes, Gabby loves other dogs// Cats: Yes, but wants to be friebds and will chase// Kids: Yes// If sunshine could take dog form, it would look a lot like Gabby ☀️ This brown-eyed beauty is the definition of joy on four paws — playful, loving, and just the right mix of goofy and smart. Gabby spends her days romping around the yard with her foster playmate, trading zoomies for cuddle breaks and never turning down a snack (seriously… she’s very food-motivated 🍗). Gabby loves dogs, thinks cats are fascinating (dog-savvy cats only, please — she really wants to be friends!), and she’s a total sweetheart with kids. She’s the kind of pup who fits right in — whether it’s family movie night, a weekend hike, or a road trip to somewhere new. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever people — the ones who will include her in all their adventures and love her for her playful, happy heart. Because honestly? Gabby isn’t just a good dog. She’s a great dog — the kind that makes every day brighter. 💛If you would like the opportunity to meet Gabby - please complete an application on our website and one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a phone call: https://www.ruffstartanimalrescue.com/dog-application-form

Story
Meet Nala! Shepherd Mix – 75 Lbs.Nala is a very loving, loyal dog. She is super smart, loves kids and is great with other dogs. She loves to play! Nala knows how to sit, shake a paw and lay down. She is slower to trust new people, and is a bit leery of men, but if you give her a few minutes, she warms up quite quickly. She loves to give and receive love and seeks out affection. She would be a great addition to an active family. Let`s find Nala a home for the holidays!
