Story

I rescued River in 2024; he was 6 months old at the time, and I was told he was going to be put down if he didn't find a home, so although I wasn't looking for a pet at the time, I took him in. He had a rough start dealing with parvo and a pretty bad hernia, but after a few tough months he was cleared of parvo and had his hernia repair surgery! He recovered really quickly and started showing his super energetic side, which turned out perfectly. I took him to my favorite parks and rivers and saw he loved swimming and running on the banks, so of course I had to name him River. I've never owned a husky or German shepherd before him, so I got the best of both worlds, and our lifestyles were perfect for each other. Unfortunately I have to relocate and can't take him with me. He deserves the lifestyle that I sadly could no longer give him. I'm hoping to find him a home that can support his energetic lifestyle and enjoy his river walks with him.
