Story
Meet Bella — A Loyal Girl with a Heart of Gold Bella is an 8-year-old German Shepherd with a wonderful balance of loyalty, independence, and affection. She is very attentive to her people and naturally protective of those she loves. Bella likes to know what’s going on around her and takes her role as her family’s devoted companion seriously. While Bella enjoys being around her people, she is also an independent girl who appreciates having a little say in when and how she receives attention. She loves interacting with her family, but she prefers to come to you on her own terms. Once she decides she’s ready for some affection or quality time, she is happy to be right there by your side. Don’t let her age fool you—Bella still has plenty of playful energy! She absolutely loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to romp and play with. She is also kid-friendly, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and playful four-legged member. Bella is looking for a home that will appreciate her independent personality while giving her the love, companionship, and respect she deserves. In return, she’ll offer her family unwavering loyalty, a watchful presence, and the kind of companionship that comes from a dog who truly cares about her people. If you’re looking for a devoted German Shepherd who can be both your playful friend and your faithful protector, Bella may be the girl for you. If you're interested in meeting Bella, please contact Beth at 706-587-9588. Disclaimer: All pets posted and adopted through Neighborhood Pets are not members of Paws Humane Society. Story
Meet Zeke — A Gentle Boy with a Heart Full of Love Zeke is a sweet, affectionate dog whose greatest joy in life is simply being close to the people he loves. He has a gentle nature and a kind heart, making him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal best friend. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, it doesn't take long for his loving personality to shine through. Once Zeke feels comfortable, he's happiest by your side, soaking up affection and returning it with unwavering loyalty. Whether he's relaxing with the family, following you from room to room, or leaning in for a few extra pets, Zeke's favorite place is wherever his people are. More than anything, he craves love, companionship, and the comfort of belonging. Zeke does wonderfully with children, gets along well with cats, and enjoys the company of larger dogs. He would do best in a home without small dogs, as they aren't the right fit for him. With the right companions, Zeke is calm, friendly, and eager to be part of the family. He would thrive in a patient, loving home where he can continue building confidence and enjoy all the affection he deserves. Whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy on quiet evenings or a faithful companion to share your daily routine, Zeke is ready to fill that role with his whole heart. With his gentle spirit, affectionate personality, and endless devotion to the people he loves, Zeke is ready to find the forever home he's been waiting for. If you're interested in meeting Zeke, please contact Kimberly at (706) 992-3352. Disclaimer: All pets posted and adopted through Neighborhood Pets are not members of Paws Humane Society. Story
I think our Morgan is part mermaid, part ball player, part rabbit and part dog. She is the tiniest and funniest girl ever. She loves to swim, bury her balls, run and is such an angel. She is so young and smart. She has the cutest ears and makes me smile a hundred times a day. She is doing well on her leash and crate training. She would be a great addition to any family that wouldl love her and her bonded friend Ace. We did a DNA test on Morgan and the results were surprising. She is 64.1 percent American Pit Bull terrier. 30.1 percent Supermutt and 5.8 percent Boxer. The supermut parts are broken down to 30.1 percent Llewellin Setter, 30.1 percent German Shepherd, 30.1 percent Golden Retriever, 30.1 percent Labrador Retriever and 30.1 percent Chow Chow. This all adds up to 100 percent Precious Angel.
