Rocky is a very affectionate boy who came in very shy but has come along nicely socially. He knew no commands or how to walk on leash. He has learned sit and his leash training is going well. He is mostly house trained, and doing better daily. When he is not engaged with people, he is very calm in his kennel. He will be ok with dog savvy cats and older kids. He seems to like dogs smaller than him. Rocky weighs 63 lbs and recently neutered. He has had his first shots and we will follow up with the boosters. Rocky is just under 1 year old and a very fast learner-smart as can be.

Meet Sox! Sox is a young German Shepherd mix that came into our care when her family was no longer able to care for her. We are estimating her to be around 10 months old, and she currently weighs around 25 pounds. She seems to be a petite sized dog for her mix of breeds so we do not think she will get taller, but she still has room to fill out. Sox can be a bit shy and a quieter home may be best for her till she gains some confidence and learns to be a dog. Sox has done well with other dogs previously and another confident dog in her new home may help her. Due to how shy she is little kids may be too much for her at this time, but older kids/teenagers that understand some dogs need more space could be a good fit. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Curious, affectionate, vocalThings my foster mom has to say about me: Prudence is doing so well. Loves having a home setting and every day gets more comfortable. Plays with foster sis. Is decent on walks, only pulls when eager to go sniff something. Potty trained. Can sit and shake. Fine letting new people enter the house. Cannot get enough cuddles and pets. Really just wants to be in whatever room you are in and then will settle down. Can handle the crate for short periods like for errands. Only concern is longer periods alone, is definitely an escape artist. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 7/10Housetraining Status: With a routine I am fully potty trained.I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with kids given proper supervision, and other dogs given proper introductions.
