Apollo is a 2 1/2 year old german shepherd malamute mix. He came in as a stray. As you can tell by his picture he is a large ball of fluff! He is a nice boy. He enjoys being outside but with his heavy coat and hot temperatures safety is crucial because he can get overheated or get hot spots. He has been introduced to a female dog around his size and did okay with her. He did not necessarily want to play but just hang out. He does not seem to be interested in male dogs and they seem to challenge each other more than want to get along so probably no male dogs. He is also too interested and obsessed with little dogs and cats so we feel he would do better in a home either as an only dog or a female that has been tested here at the shelter with him. He is fully vetted has been neutered and is current on all his vaccines. He will also be microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Please contact us or stop by if you would like to meet him.
