I received him from a friend's son who was not taking very good care of him. I did my best to give him the care and attention he needed but find myself coming up short. I have recently had a child so my attention is limited and I have no been able to afford his big procedure that he needs for his ear, hip dysplasia and front canines. I need him to receive better care as I am not able to and it breaks my heart. My place is too small, he doesn't have the room he had before when I first got him (he had an entire room). Please help

Vida spent her whole life with her previous owners. Due to moving to a place that would not accept pets, Vida is now with us. While in the shelter, we've noticed Vida doesn't like to be approached and will bark, but loves when you take her out for walks. She was known to be very loving and protective of her previous owner and children, but has not been introduced to children since coming to the shelter. Since she is standoffish with new people, it would probably be recommended that she only be around older children. She has been trained: sit, down, stay, come, shake, roll over.
