Story
Sheba is a very special dog. She would be a great only dog for a person that is home a lot and would like protection. She was adopted from the local shelter with the intention of training to be an emotional support animal. However, she has anxiety from previous trauma including being attacked by another dog in the shelter. This makes her very fearful of dogs while on leash. The shelter believes she was abused because she is also fearful of new men. She gets along with all people and dogs once properly introduced, although she plays a little too rough. We have had her for 2 years and have done a lot of training to establish basic obedience. This has helped with her reactivity, but has unfortunately not solved it. We are currently living in a rural apartment that allows large animals, but must move for work to a place that does not. She does not belong in an apartment complex, but that is all we can afford. Please reach out with any questions as we would love to find Sheba a loving home.
