Story
This wonderful lady is very sweet. Teagan is a sweet, playful, shy gal. She can be a little timid to new people and new environments, and she needs some time to adjust. Once she knows you, she is all about kisses and play. She really enjoys running and playing with her toys. Teagan has lived with another dog before, but we do recommend a meet and greet to ensure they are the best fit. She has done well with cats in the past. Teagan would love a child to play with, as long as they can go slow with her to gain some trust first. She is a gorgeous girl who cannot wait to find the perfect home!Every animal adopted from the Humane Society of Northwest Montana has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and administered age-appropriate vaccinations.

She is exceptional at all basic commands, listens and responds well. She does need to be the only pet in the home. She does a controlled heel and would enjoy walks but will need to be on lead. She would greatly benefit from an owner who understands the German Shepherd breed. She is very strong weighing in at 67 lbs, and is six years old. Koda is available for adoption through LSAR.org. She is a gorgeous girl and would make a wonderful companion. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is 150.00 and includes three training sessions with our trainer so that Koda and her new family can get off on the right foot together!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Maddie is a beautiful six year old spayed female GSD cross. She loves her humans and is trained and obedient. Maddie was rescued with her good buddy Jake. Unfortunately Maddie felt the need to protect Jake from the other dogs in the home so for the safety of all, Maddie is looking for a new place to call home. She does get along well with other dogs but does have a dominant personality so her people will need to make her understand that she does not need to be in charge or a protector because that is their job. Maddie is healthy, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. As stated before, she is dog friendly and tolerates cats. She is great on a leash, potty trained and knows basic commands. If you are looking for a loyal loving companion, please consider this deserving girl. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Archer is a 2 year old 55 pound sweetheart of a dog. He is neutered and completely up to date on vaccinations. He seldom barks, never growls and is not in the least bit skittish. Archer is working on leash manners and not jumping up on people when excited and is doing very well at both of these. Archer is a handsome boy who gets along with other dogs and loves people. He is fine with inside cats, but will give chase to a cat outside. He loves to ride in the car and loves his toys. Archer would be a great addition to any family.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sirius, who we have affectionately renamed/nicknamed Bear, is just that…a fluffy, cuddly teddy bear. His calm and sweet demeanor makes great company and he loves nuzzling into your lap or backing up to you so you can give him a good scratch on his behind. He is very friendly with our hyper 3 year old border collie mix and they love to play together. They’ve had some disputes over sharing toys and can get territorial with their food but other than that they’ve become good pals. We don’t have cats so we aren’t sure if he is cat friendly however he has tried to chase the cats that walk the back of our fence. Bear does good on a leash and loves going for walks and car rides. He’s confidently learned how to “sit” and we’re sure he could learn many other commands with a bit of training. He is potty trained and we only had one accident (possibly marking) at first. He was a bit nervous at first getting used to our house (fearful of the hardwood floors, doorways, and hallways) but he was brave and settled in very nicely with us. We attempted to crate train him because our current dog is but found that that brought out a lot of unneeded anxiety for him. We can trust him when we are gone from the house a few hours as he just naps on the couch until we come home. At night he is happy to sleep in bed with us or on his own in the living room. He’s a great dog that wants to make his new best friend happy and deserves the same.
