Story
Meet Kimber at just over one year is a bundle of joy with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of personality! Kimber is sweet, silly, and smart as can be. She’s constantly on the move and sometimes forgets to rest, so her foster is helping her learn how to settle by giving her crate breaks and encouraging calm behavior. Kimber has been working on sit, down, come, and place in foster and is very eager to learn. She did good with her dog tests and would love a playful canine sibling to romp around with. At just 28 pounds, she’s the perfect size to snuggle up with after a fun-filled day.If you`re looking for a smart, active, and affectionate dog who will keep you smiling and moving, Kimber might just be your perfect match!

Story
Hank turned a year old in March, and is a loving, active, happy dog who loves to protect his people! He is quick to warm when he knows a new person is “checked out.” He does have a very dominant personality with other dogs, and took a while to warm up to the other female dog in the home. He displays resource guarding even after work and has to be separated for meals. Hank needs a new home WITHOUT small children, and without lots of good introduction would likely do best without other pets.

Story
We found Athena on the side of a busy road malnourished, weak, and most likely dumped after having puppies. She is the sweetest girl with just the right amount of energy to keep you busy and will still want to curl up and get love after her zoomies. The reason we can not keep her is due to her not getting along with our cats that we had prior to picking her up off the side of the road and us not being able to give her the time and attention she deserves. She loves attention and with the right person/people will blossom into your best friend. If you're interested in giving her a chance at her perfect forever home please reach out to me!

Story
Miss Marley was born 12-07-23. She was from a litter brought to the shelter. She is smart and affectionate. She loves walks in the woods, playing frisbee and tug and riding in the car. She knows many commands and sits well to have her leash put on. If you say, excuse me, she will move out of your way.She responds well to treats for training. Everybody loves her. She is always happy to see visitors. She is totally housebroken and respects the baby gates we have. She doesn't chew on anything but her toys. She had some occasional food aggression but have worked that out. We have cats and it is a struggle with them. One of them plays with her but is has to be supervised. She has had minimal interaction with other dogs...we live in the country. I have goats and chickens and was hoping the Great Pyrenees in her would come out but, alas it is the Shepard personality that dominates. She kills the chickens. She is lovely and if I was 20 years younger without goats and chickens I would keep her.
