Brodie Jay #25139; male; shepherd mix; estimated age 2.5 years; approximate weight 55lbs. Our sweet Brodie Jay aka BJ has endured a life of neglect until coming into the shelter in June of this year. He lived his first couple of years in a pen being fed and watered but with little love. Regardless of being let down by humans, he LOVES the volunteers! He has such a sweet disposition and never tires of cuddles. He plays best with females, but with proper introductions should be fine with a male of a matched energy level. He has been vaccinated, neutered, wormed, and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms. He was re-tested this week and is showing improvement. He will do anything for a treat and will be very easy to train. Please give this guy a chance for the life he deserves.

She has honestly came a very long way since she first came into the shelter life and we are so proud of her! Maude is 40 lbs of beauty and delight. She enjoys her playtime with her friends here at the shelter but is happy to come back inside for her down time. Maude enjoys getting love and affection! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $175 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $105.00.
